  1. yea not a fan of flasks nice fresh boiled water much better. Some thing to think about there archie
  2. Are they any good ? Looking for a nice hot cuppa down the allotment or on the beach. I gather you just stuff some thing combustible in the bottom and light it up ? When I snuff it the girls are going to have great fun sorting out all the shite I bought over the years ?
  3. I like a dexter wedge for the bass some thing you lob out a fair way if needed. Seems to work well for them. Good in lower tidal parts of rivers Might pump some blacks and have a dabble for a bass next weekend. Rabbiting over with now. I did have visions of idyllic evenings on the beach with the dog but once he twigged what was going on if he sees me reeling in a fish he goes storming off in the surf and tries to pummel mr spikey with a 6/0 in its chops His such a tit lol
  4. Aye same. Mine came back as fast as he went straight at me. What a good lad I though then he flew straight by me heading for some farm building where we had seen a charlie but he was on a lead at the time ? But I managed to apply the breaks that time
  5. scruffy is the future lol. I was out with my black plonker this morning His snout hit the floor and I could see what was coming and tried to put him on a stop but too late. Few seconds later he was a black spec going over the horizon. Full on is not the word. Scruffy and a bit more laid back for me next time
  6. Thats it I remember them and reading there adverts and not being able to afford any of it lol
  7. Yes exactly neither of my jills stick which is fine by me. They will have a go then come out. Last thing I want to be doing is dig but I would never go with out a spade because you just never know. There is a fella on here and facebook I think who makes the screw together spades. Think they are about 60 quid mind. Not sure how long they are in bits. I can't remember his name though
  8. Been acting as a carer for his 90 year old gran who just passed away if one believes what the dailymail write. Not many young folks would take that on if its true
  9. Brilliant great to see you young ones out there learning the craft in the country side. I am sure there will be some carrot nibbling deranged toss pots out there who would vilify them pics but fook em. Keep up the good work folks
  10. I just had a google for the canvas ferret bag in me pic above they were sold by one of the online net companies in a big and small size as a kid. Can't find them any where so some thing else out the window. Thank god for the likes of ferret fever catering for the ferreting man
  11. I bought one and it is very well made and comfy. The outer pouch though does sort of mold its self around the net bag so sort of squeezes up tight a bit but my jill seemed happy enough in there
  12. yea i will say the dog is as good as second person at time. You can read whats happening the other side

  14. Yea I know bloody animal could at least have given it guiness
  15. Yea just knowing the dog. Some times mine will have his doubts he know its there some were just not 100% sure so he will sort of look at me as if to say what do you think. I will look at him as if to say well your the one with the fooking snout you tell me ya doughnut ? We end up having a run through just in case but most times there's no mistaking his mark and its bang on. But I have to say this little fella back in the day was unbeatable with his marking it was bang on and he new the ferreting game inside out. Just the little things like a rabbit slipped the
