  1. No no mr bunny lol if his going to learn how to net at night he needs to learn the proper way first. It is not that hard once you know what you have to do then you just need to practice it to perfect technique. Any snags take a few pics or lob a little vid up on here. He will do fine. Don't want all this basket lark his not going to tesco ?
  2. The barrage is endless https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-49315258 One day it will all be done at least legally

I think you are bang on. There numbers are absurd. I have seen about half a dozen or at least 6 this year in broad day light which is just beyond. It used to be unheard of seeing one in the day unless it was ill. Can't let the dog off in some areas now just in case.
  4. Hi Beaver if you can not find any one get this book https://www.amazon.co.uk/Long-Netting-Peg-Martin-King/dp/1846890586 or get it any way. Get your self a little 25 yarder off Nels0n and get practicing during the day. Also look at this fella. Don't bother with all this quickset lark at least to start with
  5. Such a stark contrast to this country. The kids having a laugh and great time chucking dead possums and carrying pigs. A big comp with plenty of sponsors. Over here we can hardly muster a game fair now a days. Down to pressure from do gooders and carrot nibblers
  6. I don't have mine in they would pressure the dog and he wouldn't like that. But you can't have them too tame it all pays off in the field. I don't handle mine a great deal but I think if you get it done in the first year it just sticks with them. I just let then have a run about once or twice a week and handle when cleaning and feeding.
  7. I like pics like that because i haven't a clue. Looking at that it will be easy fit the floors then you pop front on I guess. Keep few pics going of progress
  8. I don't appeal to me though like any thing the old training can get addictive and you can't help but wonder. I am 50 this year and there are enough things out to bite you on ass with out adding to it.
  9. I would imagine the bodybuilding forums would be the place to go they seem quite open and helpful. https://www.tmuscle.co.uk/forums/anabolic-steroids-prohormones.23/
  10. Well that works well for sure. How do you get an edge on that part of the nife ? A round stone or some thing ?
  11. Summed up so well. Hard pushed to find a wood around her now where some one hasn't built a log cabin or put a tent for weekends. Then there is lots of off grid folks with there huts and solar panels. Not that I blame them but its just really crowded now a days
  12. Farmers have a bad experience it ruins it for every one. If they have never had a issue and they see a lamp they won't bother. On the other hand if they have then look out lol. As a young lad some idiot left a gate open which I got the blame for. Hard to reason with a landrover baring down on you with full beam. I gave him 10/10 for effort mind driving down a rough old track with no lights and sneaking in the field. I did find it a bit amusing when he was fing and blinding out the window but couldn't stop on the slope and went sliding by ? Which gave me the window i needed to hit the cover
  13. So true in fact I often pray my dog doesn't find any thing. But it's not just the lurcher work. Walking the lanes with a sneaky stop net in ya pocket. Or just having wander A bit of company in the hide We love just being out there doing what ever it don't matter. If you have a nice quiet hound well disciplined it must be a complete joy. Unfortunately mooching with my dog is a bit like mooching with a sherman tank ? But we don't care
  14. Old Cassio has a point with this socialising. I made s point getting mine out and about round dogs but all ways some random mutt running up and piling in. He never had no aggression and hid behind a tree once when a pug went for him lol. Then one day a bulldog grabbed him by chops after it snuck out from behind car. The switch flipped and that was that. Can’t trust him any more dogs in past never bothered and all good as gold
  15. Seems a common theme young dogs get attacked and when they mature they turn the tables. Pain in the arse all due to some idiot with an off lead dog and no control.
  16. Got a good point. Loads closed down and the ones left you have to pay to use. My daughter has crohn's and she has to carry a card/key so she can use the locked ones. Council tax goes up and up and get less and less. More concerned about blue bags black bags rubbish
  17. Great bit of info Gaz thank you
  18. Any one done much with a pushnet ? Thinking of getting some shrimps. Does tide size or state matter ?
  19. It was very tasty but the texture wasn't crispy enough which tallies with what you folks said about not cooking any thing
  20. Bit precise with your cross. My next dog 22 inch and under and scruffy fooker done ?
  21. Look forward to that later. We heading into big bass season soon on the beaches
  22. Don't be silly its just a matter of having a bit of fun with your hounds no one is going to die Well maybe some thing but no one lol
  23. I think you lose the texture jok but fine for bulking up any thing. Mince soups or what ever
