Love these bushing dogs definitely my next dog once the Lurcher is gone. More suited to my ground. Less attention and less likely to break. Perfect for gun and ferret

I enjoy your videos will watch this one later. As for noise around the holes back in the day with a little terrier who had a nose like a beagle. On more than one occasion we bolted a rabbit at least 3 times from different holes before catching it. They would slip a net or an unnetted hole etc. He would track them down and mark again and we would have another go. As said movement matters more if a rabbit sticks it head out and sees you it’s likely to go back in. The terrier also learnt that. I will never forget watching him by a hole and he could see the rabbit. He froze solid and swivelled his

The recycling in wales does my head in and the max amount of black bags which is now at 3 every 3 weeks. I don’t see why I should be forced to recycle when I get a ridiculous council tax bill to pay which they squander on shite. They should take it all away and sort it. They have yanked most the bins out of lay-byes now as well so people lob all there rubbish in the hedge now. All this money spent on this 20mph bollocks to could paid for few bins. They didn’t even collect the black bags last week so I had to take to tip. Had to show my little orange permit cause I got a van. It’s the smalle

Had couple Russell’s long ago both bayers and could not fault them. But not only were they good digging dogs they were amazing ferreting bushing dogs and neither dropped to ground on rabbits. They just seemed sensible dogs. Got black pup from good stock it’s was rubbish. Got a Lakeland absolutely useless apart wanting to fight. Pain in arse

Is Farage right to distance himself from Tommy Robinson ?.
terryd replied to mackay's topic in General Talk
I know nothing about it all really. But Farage seems to talk sense. In particular I like this raising the limit before you pay tax. That would straight away put a few more quid in bank end of the month that I can straight away spend in the local economy or temu So win win Even if I was twenty quid a month better off it’s better in my pocket than giving to government to waste on complete shite that is nothing to do with me -
That does sound grand jok

Certainly has jok

You just know what’s happened in Scotland will roll out to rest of us at some point. As I said in another post we just got back from there. I just stood there dog on a lead thinking this is just mental. Who the hell would have thought it. The antis or warriors as they like to think are on Facebook are pestering the hell out of hunts. They do my head head in. State of this country now a days
-
Up north visiting the daughter. Went for walk yesterday with dog on a lead. Plenty rabbit sign about. It was amazing to think if I let the dog off I would been breaking the law. Just unbelievable dog weren’t impressed either lol
-
The fact is if your on perm you shot and wounded a hare or if you flushed into a net and in either case the dog found it you would not have broken the law. If you did exactly the same thing with a fluffy cocker it wouldn’t even be an issue. Yet the fact it’s a Lurcher means you get discriminated against which I thought now a days was such big no no. You can’t go around offending people. Then for them coppers to have a go at the farmer in public all over Facebook before any thing is proven was well out of order. Until proved other wise the farmer did nothing wrong. Shame they don’t get a good s

Dog retrieved them or followed up if wounded. Only fly in ointment is if they weren’t wounded. Again perfectly legitimate if they had been netted and dog collared them. More holes in this than one of my home made purse nets
-
The Lurcher man or woman is definitely being discriminated against. So if your on permission with a Lurcher and you shoot or legally net a hare there’s a good chance of losing your dog if some one sticks there nose in. Just not right. Them coppers definitely enjoying there job to much throwing there weight around.

They are characters for sure after the old fella with a bit of bull I thought she would be laid back and bit more reserved working. But if any thing she probably as keen
