  1. I think that is right I have yet to get one past 2-3 years before they start playing up. Other than the plr 500 which is still going but i find narrow. Gone back to the old light force variable and a sealed lead battery. Just want some thing that works and goes on for years
  2. I think there is some thing in getting them out as a pup. My jr as a kid I carried in a bag as a pup because he couldn't walk to where we needed to be. I can still picture him now wobbling about over the holes and hearing a rumble under his feet and the look on his face when a rabbit exploded out in front of him. Turned into the best and most tuned in ferreting dog I ever had
  3. I like your thinking
  4. Yea small dog for me next time. Small scruff arse might even got the whole hog and just get a gundog as do fair bit of shooting now. Plus a little busher type would be good for a bit of day time netting and fine for ferreting

    Gyms shut

I did a half in 1.51 from being a fat b*****d and not being able to run for 5 minutes in a go. So starting off being fit you could trounce that. If gnash was clocking up 9 min miles for two hours just cruising he could get a tidy time. Also with running if you want to go all out on the day it is surprising what you can pull out the bag. Once you get half way and know its in the bag just bust a gut
  6. Hybrid bikes are nice and comfy thats what its all about

  9. The one i had years ago seemed to float over rough ground. She was really light and nimble. Could run her any where on rough stuff. She didn't have the pace for big fields though but i worked her accordingly. Would suite me perfect now a days
  10. Shame to see them taking such a hammering when its such a struggle to find a few around here at times. I think they should ship them back lol
  11. I used the marathon plus tyres cycling to work and never had a puncture in over a year after putting them on doing about 18 miles a weekday. Roads and paths though not off road. But cracking tyres
  12. Can't beat an old marin chid ?
  13. I don't get the logic. Loads furloughed with jobs uncertain and every where shut with job loses. Also people were locked down so in theory couldn't go to collect any way. Yet they are asking stupid prices and some how selling. Then surely folks are not so stupid as to buy a dog there stuck with for the next 15 years just because they have a few months off. Just amazing
  14. yes 10z would be fine but they are 4 I guess. Catch rabbits fine but I just like to make me own now and have loads. I could probably dig out 50 of them if I could be inclined
  15. Buggers for catching the brambles but they hold really well. I like my pink now a days lol
  16. Got dozen here free if some one covers postage. if you don’t know they can be a pain for grabbing the brash and tangling. But they will catch well. think there’s 12 other wise there going under the stairs never to be seen again ?
  17. You want a snipped ,vasectomised hob sparky
  18. Thought you were going to tell him to throw a hair drier in the tub as well then ?
  19. Yep that looks great the sea and the food.
  20. Yea don't lol. They got one thing on the minds but the way this year is going it will be autumn before we know it. Just keep them nice and clean and that is about it
  21. I wouldn't worry about that Keith I have have tried to unlock the wrong car more than once just because it was the same colour. Felt right plonker when I realised been waving the fob at the wrong car. Casually stroll off whistling ?
