    Like mr wilkes said its all about control. No way in a million years is my dog not going to take off if a rabbit gets up in front lamp or not and like ray said if any thing else comes along even less chance lol. Long netting can be nice and stealthy and calm. Neither of them words fit my dog lol but you may have more luck

    It sounds good but the actual doing it would be different. In the day time though have the dog mark some bushes and sticking it in a stay while you run a net around is great. But at night I would leave the dog at home.

    210 variable and sealed lead acid battery unless you got plenty money then get a lithium battery I guess. Depends how much you use it. Had few led lamps and they died to quickly apart from the plr500 which is still going strong but the beam is too narrow and I struggle keeping things in beam and yes my eyes are bad. But no problem with the 210. Plus I like the old halogen light. Its where I started and where I will end. As for the blitz I have the size is just bit silly lol

    Is there any thing I can use to paint the floor of my yard. Not a huge area but the dog uses it too piddle in and it gets hosed down. I just done the walls with masonry paint and it has brightened the place up so fancy doing the floor

    Very interesting. I got visions of a lurcher quartering at 900 mph. As for the working with a gun I guess you need to stop it running in then being a lurcher you also want it to run in at times. I guess they soon figure out what you after and doing. I do like the idea.

    Coppers used to be great apart from the time they dragged me in when I made a ferret hutch out the brand new fence the council had put up. Was daft place to put a fence any way. Still makes me chuckle when I see it all over grown along the edge of the woods now with a whooping great gap in it ?

    Some spots around here have been completely devoid of rabbits for last 4-5 years Was a time you could nip out any night and knock a handful over which was all we ever needed to keep happy

    Still a little bit confusing this as to who is actually making them and the details. You would think they or who ever would build up to a big launch with some advertising on here and else where. They would get a big influx of orders as every one grabs one to cover them selves and then I would expect sales to die right down and trickle in. Bit baffled by the lack of noise

    Any one got a link to a bulb for the blitz preferable a souped up one. Me lamp has quite a dull orange beam even on a new battery

    Good advice off runner there teach them not to run in. Mistake I made with mine first time I took him and I dropped bird let him dash out and now every time he hears a bang he wants to storm after some thing.

    You will see ample pictures of lurchers on here handling feather. I guess you just have to be extra careful on the gun fire side of things and the introduction. My next dog I thinking gundog but I just like having a lurcher so I will be planning the same as you This muppet is fine with gunfire but a plum. One thing he is good at is at a dusk duck flight telling me when a duck is incoming or finding them once shot. Doesn't retrieve though so his usefulness ends there I had him the duck hide last season at dusk and I dropped first duck and we sat back down. N

    Not read the details but the only issue here is why he had them returned after losing them for what ever reason. Other than that nothing should change. The fact is if you have a cert you have to be squeaky clean and not even say boo to a goose. But he could have just as easy jumped in his motor and caused untold damage.

    The gun shouldn't even come into it. He could have locked the door and lobbed match through the door. He lost the plot which unfortunately happens. The shotgun licencing steps are fine as they are. But no doubt we will get pummelled just so some one high up can make out they have done some thing when in affect they have done nothing. But they will do it just get brownie points off the media and please the plums who want to ban all guns. Sooner or a later another nutter will lose the plot again and the steps they took won't help in the slightest.
