    9.5 steel and after recommendations off here using precise. The lighter bands are paying off and also a nice short draw length to avoid pulling back past my nose seems to help. I am finding it a bit like my shotgun shooting though the more thought I put in the worse my accuracy. Also trying to be consistent with every thing is tricky. But getting there. Gave that plastic bottle in the stream a right pasting last night lol

    I got one on my wish list this year and I see you can get them for about 500. I was thinking they would be really handy for night time netting with the gate and long nets. Also finding shot ducks in the winter that giving it the disappearing act. I just got get around to breaking it to the mrs

    Any alternatives to basc ? I am tempted to cancel I went with them for the insurance and add a number to them. But it seems every one just rolls over. They should be fighting tooth and nail to batter back this stupid general licence but seem to just roll with it

    Bet it won't be long before lead weights in fishing comes into the mix water pollution blah blah just absurd. I have few old side by sides. I will just whack standard steel through them. Won't lose any sleep over chokes. Air rifles never occurred to me.

    True all the shooting folks keep banging on about pest control I assume to make out they are complying with the general licence rubbish but unless your getting paid your doing it because you enjoy it. Nothing wrong with that though now a days your meant to hang you head in shame. But just because you enjoy it don't mean to say you don't care.     A JR I had as a young fella. His qualities were endless Would track a rabbit like a hound and he would spend as long as it took working the scent out and would not quit. Once he hit a line it pretty much game over if I did my bit once it went to ground. If a rabbit bolted and slipped the nets he would follow it to ground then turn round and come back and help out until it was clear then take me where he had marked. Still remember as a kid the old boy walking down the main road in winter shooting pigeons on the edge of the forestry and walking through the village gun over his arm. He was great angler too and out on the stream after any rain whipping out little trout. Made it look so easy

    Very interesting to see peoples experiences as my next pup was hopefully sired couple of weeks ago. She is a half cross collie greyhound , he is a half cross kelpie /welsh collie x greyhound. All I want is a nice little rabbit dog that will potter about fishing and with the gun and maybe find me any shot ducks that when wounded are sneakiest little sods going. I want a step back from the present bull cross attitude of lets pummel any thing that moves.     Seems ok only used it once but seems solid enough. Works fine and does the job. Makes a fair old whack sound though depending where you plan to use it

    Neither have I jok I can't hit a barn but slowly getting to grips with it. Only ten yards or so at moment. But it is surprising what chances you get out and about. I often spy the odd rabbit in a hedge row squatting tight only yards away or the odd squirrel

    Came today. Very handy was getting fed up lugging cardboard about or proper jumpers up on twigs. Fits in bag ok and light about 16 inch round so i can just about hit it lol

    Saw a video the other day they found some hidden trucks and people. Dropped bombs all over them and not a single bit of movement. No body legging it vehicles never moved nothing
