    Terrier whippet type sounds perfect to me no matter what the terrier as long as it has a bit of go in it. For catching rabbits at least with ferrets that is what you need. Rabbits never in the open more than few seconds ducking in and out. Slipping nets or what ever. No good having a bloody big blunderbus for that work though they will have a dam good go lol

    Walking farm last night and I found 2 rabbit droppings. Yes 2 ! they weren't even fresh but I was over the moon. The place has not held a single rabbit at all for over 5 years. Prior to that we could pop out any night and get few runs. I find it really sad to see the place devoid of rabbits. Just not right. Fingers crossed they can recover.

    They should give all the coursing lads shotgun certs and some where to wildfowl. Once addicted to that the other side of the fence becomes a lot less appealing for fear of losing your cert. Or they would just get extremely good at it ?

    Is creosote illegal now ? I got new drum of it in the yard been there for god knows how long and got new shed coming that will need treating soon. Love the smell of that stuff but maybe the rest of the street wont lol Oh and what about waste engine oil got loads that too Remember some one saying to mix it with some thing and its great stuff. Probably creosote lol

    The people against us don't need ammunition it is just there mission in life. There little hobby so to speak. I think its a population thing like a working strain of dog and show bred strain. Country life or proper country life is just being bred out of people so they have no clue. Its all fluffy bunny and cute foxes. Not a great deal can be done I think and in time it will all end. You can't blame people for giving them two fingers and drawing a line at some point

    LTC is down under 40 quid you can be pretty sure at some point it will rise above 200 + Might take a year but it will happen

    Yea they have a few on youtube I might watch the fox one next. I actually googled uk fur buyers but I should known better them days are gone 5 quid for a mink skin as kid was mega buck thought the moles skins at 5 pence a pop were pushing it a bit lol

    Was a good mag back then. Used to love looking at the adverts of stuff that I struggled to afford. Remember the old net making kit off kp and s I think. That lovely smell of hemp nets hanging off the caravan door. Ordered a blue eye off there to and my ferret finders. The local terrier man simpson I think used to write good stuff. Then there was that dodgy fella used to write the lurcher articles ah great days

    Good luck with it I can't imagine it being easy as the weather is going to play a big part. But it will sure beat the daily trudge of your previous job.

    9.5 steel and after recommendations off here using precise. The lighter bands are paying off and also a nice short draw length to avoid pulling back past my nose seems to help. I am finding it a bit like my shotgun shooting though the more thought I put in the worse my accuracy. Also trying to be consistent with every thing is tricky. But getting there. Gave that plastic bottle in the stream a right pasting last night lol
