  1. I will picky up a copy thank you
  2. That is very true. Had some right disasters with the old dog plus him being trigger happy made stock tricky. A rustle in a hedge or some thing going over the brow. Bang he was on the way. The new pup is up and at them if it moving but if she comes in downwind of some thing goes into that collie slink which I do like. Though early days with her next season will be interesting. But the signs are very good so far
  3. In the day a chrash bang wallop type of dog that in a split second will hit a hedge hard cover or what ever and give it a 110% on the strike helps. Every split second counts any delay its gone
  4. Interesting in the basc mag regarding Scotland. You can use any breed of dog rough shooting to flush and retrieve. But the dog is simply not allowed to kill the rabbit. Most Lurchers don’t kill there quarry
  5. It’s ground dependable around here in my area a dog catching a rabbit in day time is rare thing . Simply because there never out of cover long enough. On the other hand if it was legal you might get a decent run on a hare
  6. Looks interesting is it factual or bit of fairy tale
  7. There is some charging points down the road and you see people sat there having a cup of coffee or reading a paper while they charge up. What a load of cobblers. Surely you dont need to be einstien to see they could never work. My dog could tell you there pointless
  8. The hunt has a point though the countryside is getting populated left right and centre. From new houses to carvans and tents in any bit of rought ground getting bought up. You can't swing a cat let alone run a pack of hounds across the country

  14. Good old red tape. Glad I missed all that and for the most part not worth the paper its written on. I remember the boss sticking us on a one day course because he new certificates were going to come in the future. Think the guy dragged it out for day on how to sharpen your saw and all that. Some safety stuff and then felling some tiny norway for an hour. I had been felling trees for about 12 years by then as had most of us. Dread to think what its like now. No more hurtling down mountains on the bonnet of a county with airfilter stopping you going over the front and pile trees pushing it down
  15. Is a chain saw cert guided by the length of your bar now a days ? Used to use a 13 inch on a whopper of a saw so it went like stink. More prone to splitting your bar though
  16. We used to use husqvarna and jonsered for felling it was rare to see a stihl in the woods. But that was over twenty years ago and times have changed. Stilhl are renown for quality but pricey as I recall.
  17. Hunting fishing small holdings rearing your own meat and allotments is where it is at. But they want to wipe all that out and send us to tesco
  18. Tragic poor mite. Should unleash hell on them two now
  19. Never really followed the grey hound racing but there was a greyhound back ten year or so that was well known for exploding out the trap. I looked at couple of YouTube videos and was exciting stuff
  20. Sorry if it’s on here ready but no harm Petition: The Welsh Government should support greyhound racing in Wales PETITIONS.SENEDD.WALES The Welsh Government are currently considering banning greyhound racing in Wales. This...
  21. Fine looking dog anyway I wouldnt worry about it
  22. Its a fact nans can cook. My nans stews and suet pudding or an egg pie of some sort with stew on top was amazing. I am so gutted I don't have the recipes. She lived for cooking and no one came through the door with out being fed if they liked it or not lol. RIP

This one would put guns dogs to shame Rigby The Teckel WWW.(!64.56:886 Rigby The Teckel. 521 likes · 53 talking about this. A miniature very-fit working Teckel having excellent scenting ability, tracks, flushes, retrieves; soft mouthed... But I think his the exception.
