    Mine love toys it keep them busy contantly changing over old cerial boxes and egg box s etc for them. They love an old welly too dig into as well. I change things around so they don't get bored. I have too be careful what I do rig up though as my hob has a death wish so things need too be very safe. Any boxes that go into the recycling go too the ferrets first apart from any thing like washing powder boxes and that. One goes in the box and digs and the other jumps up and down on top of it funny as hell

    Any tips on finding some field mushrooms and is the about the time of year too be looking ? I remember as a kid horses fields were good is that true ? I have noticed they do seem too come and go

    She was great her best night as I remember was 21 but that was one night I was just greedy. She thought nothing of storming up the inside of hedge after a rabbit when they thought they were home and dry when we were lamping

    I never measured to be honest but she was small here she is next too my old JR and he had no problem getting too foxes underground as a comparison

    The grandmother lost her bedlington whippet once. So on the off chance I drove about 4 miles up the road with the lamp and started covering some fields I had worked her on in the past. Kept flashing the lamp and giving a little whistle then spotted two little eyes coming towards me and it was her. Over the bloody moon and very lucky

    Why would people poach foxes not like there good for any thing though once upon a time you could sell the pelts but obviously not this time of year

    I wouldn't worry she will be fine as a kid this little thing was a demon. She wasn't fast due too her size maybe but more than made up for it when the turning started Perfect for the catching for the pot and no trouble what so ever

    I like that very tidy did you draw some sort of plan up before you started ? The one I made I sort of made it up as I went but I am useless at diy. Saying that it turned out ok in the end and it will outlast my bought one

    Out of interest why do you use Plain Flour (1/4 Cup) Corn Flour (1/4 Cup) Are they both used for thickening or does the corn flour do some thing else as well ?

    Great report enjoyed reading that. Lovely looking land there too. Unlucky forgetting the nets I tend too do that with bait for fishing

    They look delicious I will give the pasties a go. I don't mind rabbit but mostly eat it because I enjoy catching them so I am all ways looking too find some thing that tastes exceptional. Pigeon on the other hand I love. Thanks for taking the time for such a good post and that book is a nice touch

    As I recall many moons ago I all ways tried too position my self between the rabbits and home on the lamp eg at the bottom of the hill and work up. To try and tilt things in the dogs favour as much as possible. Not all ways possible obviously. Nothing more scary than watching your beloved dog hurtle over the brow of a hill and down some deadly slope

    In a word yes Cant fault the gun I love it and would get another fills the freezer and cost me quid for the gun

    Sounds like a cracker looking forward too the pics. At the end of the day you buy what you want as long as your happy not sure why people feel the need to be negative all the time

    Thoroughly enjoyed it today with the kids. Plenty too see and spend money on. Took great restraint not too buy a flapper. Not as scenic as the old venue but on the plus side access was great and considering the weather the place was tidy too get around

    If your name is noah yea bloody weather I don't mind I will tuck in by the nearest decent burger van /food stall but it will spoil it for kids
