Hi, Just after some advice please. My 7 month old light boned lurcher pup has just ran straight into a labrador dog head on. She yellped like no tomorrow for about 5 mins.But walked back to car bout a mile away with a limp. She can put weight on it . Ive put something cold round it. What else can i do to take swelling down etc ,? Thanks.

I was down my local scrap yard today weighing in a cast iron bath.The pup was sticking her head out of the van having a look round. Three lads took an interest in the pup asking" hows she bred mate,have you coursed her yet"?"no" i replyed shes only 6 mnths old. I told them about taking her ferreting yesterday and how she chased a full grown rabbit to the hedge and making a canny quarter grown rabbit jink and turn 3 times before darting back into another warren. Went out today and every warren had young of about 6wks old .The dog had 7 altogether and 1 adult full aswell.4 layups nothing wanted to bolt.Called it a day after that,save them for nxt season ay.
