  1. Let me know if you are selling the thumbhole stock I would be interested.
  2. Anyone using a Drager carbon fibre tank, any pros or cons?
  3. I bought this 7 litre 300 Bar tank for my HW100KT, I have filled it once so far and have lost count of how many times I have filled my rifle with it! I really should have kept track of how many fills so I would know in future. http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=601 Where in Ireland are you?
  4. Another vote for Hawke Sidewinders here, have a 6-24x56 on my HW100KT and can't fault it other than the fact that its overkill for what I need.
  5. Welcome Ferret, not here long myself! What part of Cork are you in if you don't mind me asking?
  6. How are you getting on with him now?
  7. The laminate stock looks class too!
  8. Awesome piece of kit, I have one in .22 just getting used to it at the moment. Some walnut oil will bring the grain nicely on that stock, best of luck with it!
  9. Nice dog, would like one myself but wouldn't know where to start looking over here.
  10. My HW100KT finally arrived with medium mounts, they are too low for the 56mm objective lense. I shimmed the scope up a bit with two strips of lead to clear the barrel so I could have a few shots, it wasn't ideal but it done the job. The scope needs to go forward a bit too, does anyone know if high mounts are high enough so the scope will clear the barrel band?
  11. Nearly sorted, now all I need is the rifle, still waiting on the bloody license!
  12. Thanks lads, I didn't realise you could get a chrono that cheap! Any tips on what to use on the stock?
  13. Its an FAC version I have ordered, how can I check the power, do I have to chrono it every so often?
  14. Not sure, I've only seen 3 and 7 litres and up, haven't seen 4 litres, I was told the 7's are popular.
  15. I'm picking up a new HW100KT in .22 soon and need to know if there is anything I need to look out for? I have a 7 litre 300 bar cylinder with the required gauge and attachments, 2 x tins of JSB Exacts in 5.51 and 5.52 and have ordered a Napier cleaning kit. Do I just give the barrel a quick clean and fire away? Cheers, Murph
  16. Would be great if there was something down South!
  17. A decent pump isn't that cheap imho, better off with a cylinder as long as you can get it charged locally. I agree, Hunters/Shooters are treated very poorly in Ireland, its a shame. I was in the same boat and traded my T3 Tactical for the PCP.
  18. Patrick Carley Firearms in Wexford has a few PCP's in stock, might be worth a look. I bought my HW100KT in .22 from Griffin Hawe in Kildare, they might have something in stock also. They are expensive to buy initially but should be cheap shooting once you're up and running. I'm still waiting on my license but hopefully it will be with me shortly, I went for a 300 Bar 7 litre cylinder with all the bits and bobs from Best Fittings, it came to €300 shipped. Keep a lookout on the Shooting classifieds on Boards.ie or even throw up a wanted thread, PCP's pop up there from time to tim
  19. We get issued Haix boots over here and they are too soft.
  20. Meindls all the way for me, 8 years and still going strong!
  21. I like the look of these, can you post to Ireland?
  22. I just picked up a 7 litre 300 Bar cylinder while I'm waiting on my license, is there anything else I need to get before my rifle arrives? Should I get some sort of cleaning kit and gun oil, or any oil for the stock?
