    Stu AFAIA There has been little or no change at Barons Down. I believe that the warden has intervened with the very worst Btb ridden deer and has shot them but I believe the number culled is a insignificant amount.TBH its been some time since I bothered to make enquiries. Being thoroughly hacked off with the situation as it was. Someone needs to look into it then do you not think? Do you know any stalkers who stalk close by or land owners who this is effecting?     The cloth is similar but not the same. If you care to take a better look at the issue, you'll find that there is more to it than the RSPCA hierarchy being cut from similar cloth. All to often people are inclined to take a far to simplistic view of such matters where the potential for conflict and disagreement is great.     You could try. But you need the actual head, not a photoshop edited photo. And here I was thinking you knew something about Muntjac Toss,It isn't photoshopped at all,it is however a ' M. vuquangensis'.........so,off you go and Google it!!     Stu, As always a well thought out and reasonable reply but I have to take you up on a couple of things? What is classed as "cruel" or "suffering"?............I only ask because in lots of stalking accounts (yours included) it plainly states that a shot beast has run on for sometimes 100yds plus before dieing........would that not be classed as suffering or cruel seeing as it was not instant? As for poachers using guns and bows, well stalkers use guns and bow hunting is widesparead in the united states.......so who is the judge of the poacher or the bow hunters skill with rifle or bow?

    A plastic drum and a set of shooting sticks work out a lot cheaper and weigh less. Just leave the drums dotted around your shoot and just carry your sticks means you never have to carry that hulking great tripod over your shoulder.

    From what I can tell its mainly aimed at the illegal down load and file sharing sites. With an additional kick in the pants for the search engine providers and anyone with a financial transaction connection with the rogue web sites. Given that the US media industry alone is loosing billions of dollars to such sites. Its not surprising that they are looking for ways of closing off the escape routes and getting some of their lost revenue back.

    You have as much chance of the Hunting Act 2004 being repealed or amended as there is of there ever being a frosty morning in hell. This government has far bigger issues on its hands, and no subsequent government is ever going to devote the amount of debate time necessary to such an unimportant political issue.
