Point taken. But knowing the history of the individual there is rarely a single agenda running through any post..

A grand idea but................. Bearing mine what's one man's salt is another mans poison. True, but lets be honest your posts are as popular as a hog roast at a bat mitzvah........ That depends upon your POV Simon. I'm sure there are many very liberal followers of the hebrew faith that would enjoy a hog roast if the truth be known. Its als universally recognised that for the good of a forum mods shouldn't express or impose their own POV.

I'm all for common sense, good manners and common courtesy. I believe that I have maintained those prerequisites in all of my posts. I can't say that for everyone. I suppose its a question of how low do you set the bar. That bar can only be determined by the sites admin and the mods. As ultimately it is they who are legally responsible for the site content, and it is they who have control of the site management software. Perhaps a definite upward movement in the standards bar across the whole site wouldn't be such a bad thing. I'm sure it would increase the work load of the mods for

No not really! Bearing mine what's one man's salt is another mans poison. Whilst you and some others might not give a toss about Sherriffs highseat and the circumstances behind its disappearance and the effort he had to go through in order to get the court to order its return. I know that there are many that are. Why they choose not to post on the topic and offer their positive views unlike some is a matter of conjecture.

Norwich or Norfolk would be my guess. Looks a cracker. I had one very similar just a little thicker set. Yours might still fill out a bit though.

I'm not being sarcastic. But I'm sure if you really thought about it you could work out why that is.

Oh I dont really agree with that, many of the younger keepers in the job are clever enough to realise what a handy tool a good lurcher can be.......do keep up with the times old boy Wilf There's nothing like gaining a bit of experience to show you the errors of your youth. No lad with a lurcher would get an interview let alone a job with any of the headkeepers and single handed keepers that I am acquainted with. For a number of reasons, that we are all very aware of. You should get around more then old bean No worries in that regard. I get around a considerable

Oh I dont really agree with that, many of the younger keepers in the job are clever enough to realise what a handy tool a good lurcher can be.......do keep up with the times old boy A few realise what a pain in the arse they can be as well!! Have to admit it doesn't do lads many favours when i'm looking to take someone on. Sure there'll be plenty on here who will have something to say about that but maybe i'm old fashioned! Absolutely. You can't stop folk from dreaming though

Moon phases and how it effects stalking

Your right it will open a can of worms , and there are many thousand variables as to why I would disagree with you. Even if you think your doing everything correctly theres always something that stops you getting close in and at other times i have had them actually come right up to me not knowing i am there and within 6ft and i am not joking WILF but thats the name of the game, sometimes you cant get 500yds from them if conditions are against you, all it needs is a pigeon clattering out of a stand of trees thats seen you 800 yds away or an unseen pheasant inadvertently crowing that you a -
Wow! I know where I shall be spending my chrissie prezzie money. Those Hardy reels and rods are a great price. Like women with shoes and handbags. You just have to by a rod and a reel, don't you.

A grand idea but................. Can you be more specific. Defining dregs, arseholes, and arsehole posts would be a good place to start. Bearing mine what's one man's salt is another mans poison. One forum I belong to has a blanket ban on all swearing and anything that tries to work around the ban also gets blocked . It causes mild amusement but it makes for pleasant reading once you understand that open forums are not just read by adults, or by those that support country sports. Our image is bad enough with a large proportion of the voting public without adding to the burden by mak

Yep! They dug her up and never returned the body even after they were arrested , charged and convicted. All over some guinea pigs. Here you go. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2006/apr/11/animalwelfare.world

Its called Bullshot. Been around since the Edwardians. The really good stuff is made thus........ Ingredients 200 ml beef consommé 40 ml sherry 1 tbsp lemon juice 4 tsp tabasco 2 tsp pepper 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce pinches salt You can swap the sherry for vodka and if you're feeling really brave add some grated fresh horseradish. You can serve it cold in the summer with ice in the glass or piping hot in the winter with hot sausages and mustard dip

I'm sure the feelings and sentiment are mutual. In fact some of the more radical AR nutters would have the world believe that all hunters are the spawn of the devil and would happily see you nailed to a telegraph pole with a cardboard sign hanging around your neck proclaiming the fact. Don't forget they dug up someones granny and help the corpse for ransom only a couple of years ago.

You know me. I'll have a wade through the old filofax.

Moon phases and how it effects stalking

Is that anything like a sweaty sock? I use a US mil-surp stuff sac. I periodically bung some fresh bay leaves in the bottom. I have no idea if it makes any difference, but, I like to think it does. -
You best ask SNH and the FC that one mate. Do you still want some climbing roses.

If its good enough for the Italians.............

Italian Justice Minister, Roberto Castelli comments have a certain ring of truth about them. "Today criminals will have more to fear while there will be fewer problems for honest people." -
The same applies to the UK. Unless you can trace your ancestry back to the Picts and the Celts and the line has remained pure for the last 2.5 centuries We are all descended from immigrants.

You might, I certainly don't. But then I shower more frequently. Washing clothing in pure soap flakes and not using highly scented soap to wash yourself in along with refraining from such fancy smells such as aftershaves, pongy deodorants and smoking all help to keep the scent trail as low as possible. One tip I picked up from an American hunter friend was try not to sweat in your stalking kit. Take your outer layer off before doing anything that makes you sweat. If stalking into a high seat for instance pack your jacket in your roe sack and only put it on when you get to the seat. A
