  1. good pics the dogs look in good shape, nice to see the kids out best thing for them.
  2. you will probably never get the scum that took the dog because they would just sell it on, had dogs taken in the past so this shit makes my blood boil, hope your mate gets his dog back i am sure if hes a good dog man the animal means alot to him, hope the dog is returned.
  3. thats a good question big g often wonderd about this myself, as the wheaten was a good cattle dog at one time and my own dont take any shit from heards when we are out. it takes a smart dog to work big game and not get killed so if they have the brain why not they sure have the grip.
  4. OLD PIC OF A CUR 1/4 EBT THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING DOG.
  5. breed while the bitch is young and healthy if you are not sure your bitch is proven workwise by 3 yr old then i dont see the point in breeding her at all, and if shes a good one at least you have a pup if something happend her jmo.
  6. whatever you decide i think keeping a lurcher pup in a van is a bad idea, maybe its a while since you last reared a lurcher pup and you have forgoten they shit about 20 times a day, not havein a go at you mate but it would not be fair on the pup that just wants to eat shit and run about, and while shes teeding she will chew the seats jmho
  7. thats no problem graham i have a soft spot for that bitch myself as i know her from day one, she had me worried too but shes over it now and hopefully the pups will trive on to become future all round workers they have alot to live up to with parents like that pair, and fair play to carl he was around in no time and i finaly got a few pints in
  8. yeh cant beat a good jrt as they have never been bred to close just worker to worker, and who knows what they are bred from, you will seldom see a sick or mangey jr seem to be imune to most things.

  12. because they are much better dogs to work over the ground.
  13. ok if you like diggin 3 or 4 holes for one fox, this has been my experiance of that type only seen one good bitch that was bang on, the rest stayed well back. maybe there are stronger lines around fell types seem to be more suited to the job.
  14. had a few over the years all workers, my small terriers are 1/4 staff, thats a fine lookin dog in the pic.

  18. great pic of the old black dog, good day and a nice picnic
  19. the problem with working staffs even if only for cover work is once they are marked up from general wear and tear, non working dog people assume the dog is a fighting dog and can cause unneccessary attention jmho.
