    shes a short leged bitch about 11 inch, not for everyone but works well for me i have 2 of these terriers and they are good around other dogs work cover very well, this one is working under and over and very keen. i really liked the look of her when i saw her at the show,happy christmas to you-that bitch i had up there is doing very well as well(above and below)-myself and the brother were checking horses he has grazing somewhere, earlier when she put a fox out rushes-id say he heard us talking and was sneaking off-the brother spotted him-off after him like there was a rocket up her hole

    its not a big deal i have alot more land to hunt but this farmer was genuinely sorry he had to turn me away, we always had a good laugh with this man and he was always happy to see us and real nice place to hunt. but as already said its not bad dogs just bad owners.

    i lost some good permision recently thanks to a gang that went onto the land with 14 dogs and no leads and ran the shit out of the sheep, the farmer i hunt for is bang on but told me to leave it alone this year as his neighbours dont want anymore hunting in the area, they had no permision and ruined some very nice hunting ground for me and free pest control for a decent old farmer.

    good terriers never back down that is there job to stay until the end, so never pen them together especily them little black ones its an accident waiting to happen. my terriers get on very well hunt together and sit in the same box in the van, but there is no way they would be left in the same kennel, because its gona happen some day usually when they are comeing into heat, i have also heard of older bitchs killing pups as the pup will want to play all the time and the bitch will lose the head eventualy, all depends on how hardy the dogs are and how well you can trust them i would not take the

    you want a dog to find and mark not go to ground, so a good collie/hound is ideal once its stock broken which is paramount this time of year around sheep carrying lambs, my wheaten is bang on as a marker like a jcb on a hole but always a chance she could get to ground, its hard to beat a well mannerd lurcher to do the job.

    to get the best results from breeding terriers, line bred pups will have a much better chance as they inherit good blood from both sides, provideing a long line of workers are used both sides this will insure a steady litter each time. but no pup is garenteed no matter how well you breed jmo.

    my bitch is a tidy size just over 40 lb l330s dog is a good lump i would say nearly 50 lb and still growing, the bitch is on the mill every night for an hour and works hard when taken out so she doesnt hold much weight.

    The trial wheatens were full of bull blood(mostly staff)that is why they were, and are so game.A lot of people wont like that but it is true. i said it before on here and was slated by people saying it didnt happen, some of the most well known wheaten men used them not because they wanted bull in the mix because these dog did the job, and they covered some very good wheaten bitchs at the time.
