    thanks for the replys lads, still a bit to think about, dont want to rush in and get it wrong.

    it would be mainly small to medium fields,like the look of that first dog. was thinking of what age of dog, not sure wether to get pup or a bit older ie.6, 9, or 12 months old or 2 year old ready to work, still thinking, a lot to take into consideration, thanks for the ideas.

    i have been thinking of getting my first lurcher for the last 3 months but i am not sure what would suit, i would want it ferreting,lamping and all round day time mooching, what would be a suitable x for me to get. thanks

    hi everyone, looks a great site, i have been fishing most of my life{coarse+trout} for the last 3 months i have been thinking of getting a lurcher, so i am reading everything i can about them, alot to learn, when i feel ready i will get myself one,good luck to ya all
