  1. Bought a Zastava CZ99 Precision MP22LR at the start of last December. According to the gunsmith, it features a CZ/Brno barrel (although there's no way I can tell if that's correct) and has been well rated by other customers for accuracy. Have tried it with a variety of ammo, and it seems most accurate with Winchester Super X subsonic hollow points and RWS SS HP, as well as Winchester Wildcat supersonics. CCI ammo seems to feed less readily, which I've read may be due to the true bore dimensions being slightly smaller (.223 versus .224) than US .22 barrels. Haven't tried any other brands ye
  2. Getting back to the topic... I bought a Zastava CZ99 Precision 22LR a few months ago, and have been trying different ammo to see what suits. Winchester Super X SS HPs chamber and eject smoothly, and seem consistent and accurate at 30 metres. I use an SMR 22G silencer, and the only sound I hear is the firing pin followed by a target strike. I've tried CCI SS HPs and CCI "standard" velocity LRNs, which are still subsonic velocity. The LRNs are difficult to chamber, although they eject OK. They give off a slight crack in flight, and about 10% give off a loud crack -- must be either a lig
