The other forums on here seem to be flat out with threads particularly the lurcher and running dogs and the terriers !! From my perspective this fishing forum is a tad disappointing ! Don't get me wrong I've read down threw alot off the posts and there's some great threads and cracking fish being caught, though I expected the fishing forum to be as strong if not stronger than the rest. : ((((

Good post lad. Never seen any working myself. seen a few decent lurchers that were irish terrier crosses though.

Right there lads. had a bit too much buckfast last saturday night woke up early sunday morning and the misus was doing my bap in, i felt like her. couldnt do that now so i grabbed the rods and fcuked off down to a local trout water close to me. theres big pike in this water but theyre really hard to catch and to give you the best chance, you have to use the freshest bait you can get your hands on. well thats my opinion anyway and it usually works for me. got a run around 10 am 6lber. hit one on a spinner just a wee jack around 3lbs. i hit into another around 2pm or shortly afterwards 13lb.

Yeah stupid is right. I've just been informed I'd be safer off licensing one or two dogs and microchipping them just so if I ever get any flack it looks like I've put some effort in. Also not to go for a block license as with the new legislation anyone with block licenses will get visits every quarter !!! No thanks

For a block licence dogs must either be kc registered which mine are def not or from what I was informed today MUST BE USED FOR BREEDING. I know what your saying if you've a few bitches then you can just palm them off and say you breed them, but hold on does that work well for puppy farming rather than against it !!!! Does in my eyes. Plus I'm definitely not bringing some off my older dogs to any vet to have a chip inserted and then maybe other questions asked. By then all your details are on a computer and you could end up getting a wee call at the door. No one to blame but yourself for tryi
