MAKE SURE the timing belts been changed for the second time !!!! Peugeot diesels can be hit or miss with them miles, steering racks are a common problem so put her threw a few full lock turns if your test driving it to make sure the pumps ok and that theres no power steering fluid leaking out off the rack. Apart from that if she's running ok. Good luck. Atb

Tenterfield caller a good job. I make my own and they're great for very long and short distance calls, takes plenty of practice to get it though. I find them the most productive. Jmo

Aye and a bunch off brainless yahoos running around with 8" knives, stabbing hogs while the pitts holding them. theres wiser locked up. anti alert To begin with I'm far from what you just stated. If you knew me personnally you wouldnt have had the balls to say that only on a computer as I would bring you on much pain fella. Have you seen the DVD in question? I think not, well I have it, and though most off it is entertaining and the hounds work well keeping the pigs at bay till the big dogs are brought along with there chest plates to hold the hogs while the lads cut the testicales off

Booster for me is just another money racket for the vets to get you in and take unecessary money off people. Never had any complications in my time with any of my dogs and they never got boosters

Know a few terriers wernt too good traveling pal, mate had a young bitch and every time he took her out with us she was lifted out off the box covered in puke, all the time, she was in no form for doing much by the look off her. He actually started putting her in the van with him when he was going to the shop etc, turned out after a while she stopped doing it anyhow and she hasn't looked back. Atb

Am I taking this right, lurcher served your terrier bitch? How bigs the bitch and what size is your lurcher ?? If that's the case I'd be concerned about complications near the time she goes into labour off the pups getting stuck in her.

Cheers pulser

My bitch is like that mate, always has been from a pup. Vet bedding, blankets, my old (worn) t-shirts with scent on them, sacks... The second she spots they're in her kennel she tosses them out, as if they dared invade her space Her pup likes something to lie on, and will make a bed, but she has none of it and ejects them summarily lol I did find that a piece of soft deep carpet cut to size to be a tight fit lasted a bit longer, but it's hardly warm like a bed of blankets is. Have you tried barley straw? She might kick some out but it's easy to sweep, biodegradable and more importantly WARM.

I remember that scent,i also joined along with friends of mine, there were some area reps from up my end who were geting the club together,i think it stoped as quick as it started. thats what i heard pal a few others on here were in it too ,think there would be a serious clash of personalities if one started up again ,sad really i think I agree, the carpark after the AGM would be a great venue to sort out any differences. Cert to happen.

As above, I was going to use straw this winter for bedding. I usually use paper shredding that I get from the Irish army. Thing is the pups especially are pulling it all around the pen already and Im thinking straw would be a better job all round. I think I was told there's a certain type to get ! Is there ????? Any info would be great, and as we're the best places to get it from. Cheers

I agree with you on that one, wouldn't have a clue were to start though !!!

lol i hear ya about the ego thing son of but any area rep wouldnt be an easy job i would think with the amout of people who hunt plus it wouldnt be a paying job so has no great prospects only you get to help fellow terriermen who could need assistance...as for standards of dogs well you would only mix with people from the club who you would consider to keep the dogs to your standard... and at the end of the day if someone keeps a standard thats suits them who are we or anybody else to say whats what at the end of the day i wont be feeding it so not really my concern... but as far as keeping th

Would it work is the question ???? seeing alot off fellas don't see eye to eye to put it lightly. if a few representatives were appointed who's to say that me or the next fella might also have opinions on why they were picked seeing, for example : I may have been working dogs alot longer than him and may not rate his compared to mine !!!! I wouldn't be against it, but would it work ? Also you got sorted ystrday with the aid off a few guys you can rely on, I'd be in the same position without a club in place, so apart from the stormont side off things, I wouldn't have the need off a club for h

I know of a few dogs that are totally blind and they work fine. Glaucoma it's called common in some lines off terriers.

Fox hunting in Northern Ireland would have been banned had the Foster Bill become law. However, by the time of subsequent hunting legislation in the House of Commons, the Northern Ireland Assembly had been established and the hunting issue had been devolved to that body. A Hunting Bill was introduced into the Northern Ireland Assembly but rejected in December 2010.
-
That's it in a nutshell. Well said mate.
-
Well it's well within the law in n.Ireland to dig foxs and dispatch them with a lurcher. The issue is uspca are using this unnecessary pain and suffering act, because they have FCUK all else they can do. Clutching at straws !! Maybe I've been informed wrong, though I believe the Internet could have been a BIG factor in that happening today in bfast.
