    my friend had a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie that would trot down the beam towards a squatter or just a rabbit standing there in the middle of a golf course then it would slowly stop 10 yds from the rabbit and lay down it wouldnt chase it unless it started to run the lad used to get boiling with his dog he would say callum let your dog off a would say no that rabbit is for your dog laughing then a would eventually slip my whippet which ran straight past his dog lying down and catch the rabbit most times he got some stick for that off us ah ha ha

    cheers lads.bryson theres nothing around here either really a was just lucky this night a normally only get a few runs each time a go a get plenty nights aswell though where i get nothing to even slip the dog on but wouldnt give it up love it to much lol

    thanks for the comments.bird black one is 1/4 bedlington 3/4 whippet and is like a little rocket makes it look very easy she is about 6 now and the brindle one is a whippet x greyhound and she is doing well for her first season

    had a great walk tonight just me and the 2 dogs we got 12 rabbits but 2 had mixy so a chucked them thats why there is ten in pic that is as good as it gets around my way for a nights lamping on the rabbits my pup got 7 as i give her more runs and my black one got 5

    one of my mates i go lamping with has both and i have used them several times and prefer the 210 its only 30mm smaller but feels alot smaller and lighter than the blitz and shines to the end of any field just aswell

    had my pup out ferreting today for the first time she wasnt really interested i have only used her for lamping up until today. when the rabbits were in the nets she just walked near had a quick look then walked away although she made a good catch when a rabbit bolted and went up the side of a wheat field the dog had to jump the barbwire fence then chase it didnt see the catch but when i got to the top of the hill she was on her way back with the rabbit .we got 8 rabbits in total happy days here is a few pictures

    this is the dog i asked about now 16 month but about 14month in pics i have no doubts what so ever about this dog now she is turning into a good little dog good strike fast jumps retrieves and most importantly catches rabbits no problem she is used for lamping and does a good job cheers

    whippet x greyhounds are more than capable of a couple nights a week and dont break like twigs as alot of people say who probably have never owned one

    thanks i got aco drain full length of kennel behind the brick just reminded me i also have to dig the drain to manhole but the pipe is sticking through ready to hook up

    this is my whippet x's new kennel i built it myself and i am pleased with it so far still have facia's and gutters to go on then finish the dog boxes inside what you's think?

    could just be the pic but that looks just like a pure staff this dog was 21tts and aint no staffy its head is quite abit narrower than what it looks as it has its mouth open a wil try and get a pic of it standing side on

    doesnt look much like a whippet but it was a bull whippet its head looks bigger than what it actually was as its panting it would run all day and jumped anything

    my friend had a bull whippet that would have killed foxes no problem it was 21tts head just like a bulls but longer legs and a leaner body it would kill a fox in a second i will get a pic of it

    cheers i was just wondering one of mine is about 7 and blind in one eye but she is still working just a bit slower than the rest
