    used straw in the past till went out one morning and there was a bit sticking in the corner of the ferrets eye just a freak accident i think. Then went on to blankets and found shit in there bed she had caught claws in blanket. shreaded paper from now on which i get from office at work.

    I use the mk3m search and locate mode is simple master the pin point dial and hey presto but it is very fragile do not drop it I wrap it in bubble wrap when it is in my bag.

    cant help with ferrets, for shops Arthur Carter or Ian Hodge they both have websites and advertise in countrymans weekly. hope this helps

I HAVE A MK3M AND IT IS GREAT A BIT EXPENSIVE AND THEY ARE NOT VERY SOLDIER PROOF DROPPED IT BEFORE I EVEN USED IT (NOT HARD)THEN WAS NOT ACCURATE RETURNED TO DEBEN WHO SAID THE ANTENNA WAS BROKE AND FIXED FREE NOW USE IT IN ONE OF THOSE SMALL MESH BAGS AND SLIP IT ROUND MY WRIST AS YOU WOULD A CAMERA.
