We obviously do but its ok for me to be called W*anker, C*ck etc but when i spk back i get slated for not being a lady lol Absolutely, you're 100% right there... I don't give a feck what anyone else on here says - you don't call a lady any of those names, period. Thing is though, to be fair, they were aimed at your fella whose account you are posting under, not you At any rate some of us have tried to help and you've refused it, preferring to chop and change. If your fella / hubbs has been back from work so long, why is it you posting on here instead of him? So long as bullterr

Crikey, calm down that's not very lady-like. Or are we talking to Danny again? Thats a bit sexist i can spk how i want regardless whether i am a lady or not! Enough said, I think. We obviously have different definitions of 'lady' - mine involves more than just gender. As I said above, I'll leave it there. ATB.

Fair play love; didn't stop him grabbing a bargain Bull Terrier off here though did it? But anyway no offence but I'd rather see what the man himself has to say when he gets in from work. I'm not about to start a slanging match (which is what you're turning this into) with a 'lady'. ATB

Sorry Mrs H but I have to agree with Gnash. It's not like I've slagged you through the thread, in fact I've been polite and offered to help. As has SS and bullterrier. You said you wanted a serious, good home for the dog and didn't care about cash and people were wrong to assume otherwise - it was just a misunderstanding you said. Fair play we said, whether or not you lied about the cat dying or the fact the dog had played with it all week until the 'accident' (or the dog had not been allowed near the cat all week until Mrs Hubbs let it into the room while Mr Hubbs was in bed - depend

So true gnash, I thought the same thing mate LOL
-
No, you're right. You'd have made a quick £200 on it from the first chav with a few quid on epupz.com and nobody would have been any the wiser. If people "like the posters on here" hadn't got involved you'd not have got the dog to begin with would you? LOL Sorry but I've heard all I need to now tbh. He's not for sale cos Danny's changed his mind you say... The dog had played nice with the cat all week before the little disagreement you say... Meanwhile Danny's telling us all how the dog's only for sale because you let the dog into a room one time with your cat while he was in bed, and

Mrs hubbs, you're making things worse. Respectfully, wait for hubby to come home and sort it out properly. Keeping a dog that's totally unsuited to your environment just so "people on the internet" stop giving you shit is a bad, BAD idea. Clearly the dog isn't working out, you were after selling it all this week with 10 different reasons to justify it. Fact is, it's not the fact you were moving the dog on that anyone objected to - just the fact it was up for £200 more than you paid for it, and you didn't bother letting anyone on here know because you knew exactly how it'd look. Why go
-
Fair play. Trying to see both sides, I can see how you've put the dog up for perhaps a bit too much money and it's looked bad back on the place you got it. Now you feel your backs are against the wall and you're spending more time "defending" yourselves than securing a decent home for the dog. That's no good for any of the parties involved at the end of the day. If anyone's any sense, you'll all shake hands, give the dog to bullterrier for the £50 you paid and forget about it. Put it down to summer madness or something... I'm more than happy to drive bullterrier round if SS can't -
-
Fair reply, thanks. Nice one So, speak to Hubbs and arrange a day with bullterrier. Get bullterrier to PM me or strongstuff, and we'll sort it all out for you amicably. The dog wins, you win, everybody wins.
-
Good. So, once again - you've been asked this about ten times in this page and STILL not answered... so I'll write it bigger for you... If you want a good home and don't care about cash - let StrongStuff or myself give bullterrier (a Kennel Club Bull Terrier Club official) a lift to meet you. He'll give you your £50 back AND make sure the dog gets a 100% good home. That's all you want, right? When shall we call round?

(double post, ignore)

Mrs Hubbs, you'll find a damn site more 'serious' people on here than on epupz.com... only thing is they're not willing to pay you £250 for a dog you bought for £50 a week ago from a fellow member Like you said above, it's not about the money - so take up bullterrier and StrongStuff on their offer! Your £50 back and the dog is GUARANTEED A decent home via the Bull Terrier Club. Can't say fairer than that. Oh and if SS can't give bullterrier a lift, I'll be happy to

This is from the PM hubbs sent to bullterrier: and from the original thread: OK so 'ragged' might not have meant 'killed' - but when a bull terrier gets hold of a cat that's generally what 'ragged' will mean. Especially when it's a cat that "WAS" a bengal.... i.e. past tense = dead. And if the extra £200 wasn't because the Bengal cost £200... well... you can see how this looks?
-
Have you actually read the advert and resulting thread? See, from what you're telling us NOW (apart from the derbylad's a liar bit) it wouldn't seem half bad. But see, we've heard everything from "My Mrs cat's dead and I need £200 to buy a new one" to "it's only £200 so people won't actually buy it as I don't want to sell it"... Now it's "£250 will see it in a good home, cos wankers don't have money". Goodness sake. If you're as genuine as you're making out, sell the poor dog (which seems a cracker btw) to bullterrier for the £50 he offered you. Clearly you DON'T have a new £200 Be

I quit about a month ago now, or maybe a bit less? TBH I'm not really counting as I'm not looking at it like "I've gone without for x amount of time" as I'm NOT "going without"... that would imply it's something to lose, or miss out on. I'm healthier, can walk/run without collapsing in a big wheeze, and have cash again. What's to miss? LOL
-
name the c**t! It's all following on from this advert/thread mate, in which hubbs bought the dog from derbylad for £50 last week.
-
Cracking pic mate, they look amazing As Tis says, how many couple in the pack? And where IS that pic of you on your arse after falling off?
-
I might be stating the obvious, and I don't know what you'd call 'cheap', but when I was looking at some for the dog run B&Q and Homebase had it so cheap as to not be worth shopping around. It was something like £5 a sheet for the plain stuff, and £15 a sheet (best part of 15' long and 5' wide) for the tough dual-layer corrugated stuff. Worth a look? Cheers.
-
Aye that's true, but would you really want to be dealing with such arseholes? If I was the bloke who gifted a decent working terrier to that lad he'd not be having dogs again I can tell you that much. What a chancer. We do indeed all have our own standards, but we can do without that kind of tosser in the working dog world. It's all very well saying the new owner can do as he pleases - and he can! - but that's just the legal aspect. The fact is we're a community, and when you start taking the pee and treating good working dogs as commodities and to hell with the rest, word soon spreads.
-
This is none of my business tbh, nobody's gonna argue that. But since it's up for discussion on a public forum I'll air my thoughts. The dog was bought for £50. A week later it's for sale - not back on THL where lads know the score but on epupz and RFUK. You say you are charging £250 instead of the £50 you paid because you want "serious homes only". Funny, you want a "serious" home but advertise on epupz and RFUK of all places... Better off on here or Moochers if you ask me. But then again you couldn't ask £250 for it on here? The dog killed the wife's cat so you wanted the e

English bull terrier dog first offer taken
Rainmaker replied to derbylad's topic in Working Dogs & Livestock
Well that's as good a reason to sell as any I suppose. But why not let derbylad know? Why not sell it for the £50 you paid for it, to a good decent home? Not being funny but when I've been forced to sell a dog before now, I didn't sell it for £600 because I'd paid out for jabs, wormer, an op after an accident and wanted my money back? It's sad the dog ragged the Mrs' cat but it's a Bully - they tend to do things like that, especially when you get them as adults and don't know their socialisation history. Perhaps a bit more thought would have helped prevent this, I'm gutted for you hav -
I just whacked the breasts in a bit of butter and chilli powder mate, few seconds on high heat and onto a piece of folded bread. Not exactly a meal but it was nice, and nobody could say it wasn't fresh

Jimmy's spot on there, but as others have said unless those grandparents were also 1/2 crosses etc it's not going to be exact. TBH though, we're not talking 50:50 Saluki/Grey or 5/8 - 3/8 BullxGreys here... Once you're into four or so component breeds in various crosses, I find the best way to express the percentages is "Bitza, out of working stuff"
