Not really knowledgeable on the subject of Lamps & which equipment is the best etc... But will soon be investing in one as my bitch is coming up around the 14-15 month mark and i'll be wanting to get her trained to work the lamp. Any recommendations on a good value for money lamp or lamping kit ? Obviously the Lightforce Striker 170 etc... But any others ?

described very similar to how my dog likes to work

I hope the dog manages to find a good home, It walks to heel, jumps, is very quick and is a looker too. All red coat means the name came naturally 'Red'. He looks similar to the dog in this picture i assume was posted by Taffybull because of the copyright logo, The dog is tied to a bar gate laid down, Black and white picture i think.

Thats what i was thinking mate, was really looking towards a few of the decent dog men on the site. I'd keep the dog myself if i could...shame to see it wasted

I would like to point out to the people reading this thread that the dog in question is FREE TO A GOOD HOME (Preferably working) and i have cleared it up with a mod ''Stabs'' That i can post this thread. A friend of mine is currently in a re-housing situation and has had to let go of one of his dogs. The dog is a red smooth coated Saluki x Bull greyhound and is currently 11 months old and standing at around 26tts. This is by no fault of the dog and a good home is all that is being asked. The dog is fit and healthy and ready to go. If you are genuinely interested and can provide a good hom

In my experience of this its just different people different preference of dog. Some dog men may like a dog that kills quickly, Some might like a dog that puts on a little show for the owner. imo i like a dog that does a mixture of both, puts on a good run but does the job well -
Was talking to a friend that has a cheap lamp there for sale with 2 lamp heads, He has a none adjustable head which is stuck to the spotlight beam, and fully functional striker head all expect a small 'melt' or crack in the lens. I dont normally do much lamping, just early mornings but have been looking into it a bit more, I was wondering if you can mend the glass or buy replacement or just buy a whole new head. Thanks for any info atb ross

When looking into a dogs background, and looking at the lines etc.. i've never come to terms with what it actually means by ''4th gen'' and so on, Was just wondering if any of the more knowledgeable dog men on the site would care to enlighten me.
