  1. my cousin was out a few weeks back with full written permission and got blue thunder and half a fleet of bobbies as he drove off the farm. A complete farce to say the least. Whats more concerning is that the police do check with the landowners, who do get pissed off with the hassle of explaining who you are are why you were there............thats why Ialways notify the old bill before I go out.....saves red faces all round
  2. theres a very fine gap when they'l stand......anywhere between 11 and 20 days after the discharge is seen....try solialising them at bit.....no woman like being boned by a complete stranger - unless they're from Hull lol As has been said though - you may have already missed
  3. alot of pro-pigeon shooting providers do the same!!!....for shooting agricultural pests!!!!....... I wonder if the farmers knows he's cashing in on his pest problems????
  4. I ring the constabulary on certain permissions(like to good lad I am) and tell them I'll be out lamping as certain places I have are hot spots for tell-tale tits.........Naturally they are very pleased to hear that you are trying to help, and being responsible. It keeps them from raising Airwolf when someone does hit the 'grass switch'....as they already know I'm there)......Its always a good idea to use abit of 'constructive exaggeration' of where you are , as you never know when your dog may run off, and end up a mile or so from where you are supposed to be.
  5. Its a no no for me...........I never run a dog after a feed - bolloxes the job
  6. To be brutally honest, i think you'l be unlikely to see the dog again, and if you've got permissions to service, you'd better keep on top of them, as if you dont, we all know someone else will. Sorry for you loss though, why not carry on with the bully, and see if a 'geniume working adult comes along......and despite the bad press of buying dogs at the start of the season...they do come along occasionally
  7. 3/8 2/8 collie grey..........too smart for his own good but does the job
  8. There's no question about it...they will be. Last year I caught diddies in my garden, and 2 months later my dogs were gone...............Time to beef up the security, and engage the Man-Traps!!!!!!!!
  9. light the blue tape.............and wait for the bang :download:
  10. Get him to a spot where mixy is about. Shouldnt be too hard to find at this time of year...... from small acorns grow big trees...lol
  11. ........back from Spain....with the tommy-tits

  12. Bobby Dazzlers them! Pup looks mature for 14 weeks
  13. "stays to his fox"....but "lacks heart" in the same paragraph :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:
  14. i had a greyhound (my avatar pic) could take off like a rocket but tired very quickly after a good few runs...an as thick as two short planks as well lol...atb chris I had one to.........couldn't hack the regular work. Couldn't knock its drive though...... and it was an ex track dog that ran well at Nottingham out of Larkhill Joe.
  15. What a Bobby Dazzler ....Very unusual colour. I'm guessing there needs to be a recessive blue gene on the dam and sires side to throw blue pups? Best of luck....
  16. nice composition on those two. Not for me or my work, but credit to the owner. They look in top form
  17. always been a cross I'd be interested in..............not too much bull though
  18. Not to sure mate. Came across the pond with its mam, and sibling. The dams a small stout little short haired patt.....not sure sure about the Sire. I hear they're bred right though.
  19. ................. your not the first...and certainly not the last...lol Nothing half a dozen cans of smooth cant fix ;-)
  20. .............sounds like he's had a life time stuck in a run.....the old tendons slackn and can caused a flat 'loose' foot...As someone already mentioned, you can tighten em up abit with plenty of excercise. Some are just born with bad feet tho
  21. ......theres some money it in thats for sure
  22. I find them generally expensive and a waste of time. Why not use traditional methods which are much more effective.......even drop traps and snares if you dont want to use the classic methods...????
