  3. We all cant resist showing pictures of our pride and joys at every opportunity and I see loads of post like bull x's lets see em .......... collie crosses lets see em ............deerhound crosses lets see em... I would just like to see some general photos of running dogs in action,..............working , jumping, chasing, catching.. there are a couple of members who manage to crack off some fantastic coursing photos, ........... Chalkwarren being one of them. so any budding David Baileys amongst us - - here's your chance to show the world what you can do!!
  4. cetainly dipicts that mate....grand picture.
  5. sound advice - -work your way in. Alot of farmers are nervous of lurchers - epescially if theres a shoot on the land, with vunerable poults. I started off over 15 years ago with permission on a 22 acre horse paddock, over the years we copped for the adjoinging farms and through word of mouth this steadily increased by the year. now we've got 19,000 acres to run over plus another couple of thousand to look at next week and a paying job on an esquiste golf course. Permission is very hard come by...and very easy to lose. Play the game, do a good a job, respect livestock and boundaries

  11. Well said mate, bit of a no brainer really funny the reaction is caused though Look at you......jumping on the band wagon........ Perhap you ought to read the post properly, before climbing up Ooty's arse. You have completely missed the question and gone into 'brown nosing mode ' - I wasn't asking which was faster because I didnt fecking know - I was trying to prove a point to a mate. Congratulations on winning the 'licky licky brown tounge award for this week' - Your prize.......you can be Ooty's bitch for the day......well done

  16. depsite the overwelming majority - my numb nutted pal still wont av it. Why some people cannot be humble in defeat is beyond me - must be a pride thing! thanks for the replies
  17. I think for speed the grey....but the longer the distance you gotta favour the saluki Thats my opinion - - - my pal won't have it though LOL! - - - - I summed it up quite simply. If Salukis were faster - we'd be watching Saluki racing as apposed to greyhound racing.
  18. been having a debate with a pal over which is the fastest. what are you opinions? from a standing start over lets say 350 yards for arguments sake - in a straight line - Pure greyhound or Pure Saluki ?
