  5. ......................... snooze....and ya loose there no shooting sydicate over the land which in unusual for that side of Lincs, as a result, no ones controlled the rabbits to any degree really.................the land is crawling...and I've never seen so many hares in my life. My cousin just happend to get chatting to a bloke who, ask about rabbiting....dropped a few names...produced the insurance....and some ferreting society membership, and there you have it. Also got the piugeon shooting - good crack when it gets a bit colder.

  7. ........................anything he likes.............in moderation I buy those cured salamis from lid'l........cheap as chips.......have long shelf life, and cut into thin slices. I only reward when things are perfect...and then phaze the titbits out.
  8. the scutts can only get onto the embankment by going through the rabbit fencing...and with a dog up their ass, and a mill CL lamp in their eyes...they suudenly seem to forget where those holes are !!!
  9. Had a phone call from the farmer manager of some new permission we have saying he was going to have to re-drill a aload of rape fields as they were getting battered by rabbits. Anway we'd made the arangeemnt to go..and even tho it was a glaring full moon without a wisp of wind, we tallied up to show willing - in anticipation of a rubbish night. Anyway after a 40 minute drive we arrive some where near Stowe, not far from lincoln. about 8.00 As we thought, there was not much gear about. I took the ex track grey I've been working on for a couple of months and was over the moon wit
  10. yes snmashy...................can make a real mess when two dogs collide..........especially at full pelt - seen it happen. Better off single slips......you'l also avoid potential possesional related probles to mate. ( like dogs not yeilding up catch...or legging it when they've caught so no one can get a hold of it ) all the best
  11. ...............................derailed.......................crashed........... ..........and burned :lazy:
  12. Why all the brash comments about we would and wouldnt do???....................that isnt the is topic or argument and only serves to fuel to general ideal that everyone that shines a lamp in the dark is a knob, criminal and thug. Like I said previously, if you flaut the law......you will get punished I think it would be better if we sent a more diplomatic responce the the critisim and we face within the sport - and with public opinion - - - and not add fuel to the 'already raging' fire.
  13. You didn't miss much to be honest, what a load of biased left wing shite. It made me remember why I don't bother watching BBC news very often these days. God knows mow many times they mentioned the word 'poachers.' They kept banging on about how hunting with dogs is illegal, no mention of it still being legal to take rabbits. They came across a defender caked in mud, and thought they'd hit gold. Smart comments like 'That looks like it's seen some action!' I thought, well, yes it's an off road vehicle, they're not all used for ferrying kids to fecking school! Turned out to be a ga
  14. this was the programme i was talking about in an earlier thread.... A Couple of thinks made me laugh.........."the lampers are very odd / strange individuals" said Mr. Plod - - LOL Correct for once!! I did however find in remarkable that they threatened to give that chap an ASBO for walking his dogs on a public right of way!......Even more suprizing was when PC said " we know why you are here.....you're out after Hares and game and things" Pehaps Pc was right..but there was no proof of this allegation, which to me should have refuted the threat of an ASBO banning him from that p
  15. ...go back to basics toss a ball or toy down the beam .....he'll learn to look then..if he enjoys it...also get the pup on some sqatters. Some dogs pic it up instinctively - others get that revved they are looking everywhere but until they settle down. good luck
  16. This thread has gone off topic ............................. This was originally posted to serve as warning to the lovers of our sport to be on your guard, and not to leave yourselves wide open for critisim - whether that be in the field - or on the forum. I have been no angel, but if you brake the law - you will get punished - simple. so once agian - be careful
  17. .........................................my perfect mix would be Kelpie/KerryBlue terreir/ grey x slauki /deerhound/bull
  18. Simon Garfunkle.........Bright Eyes (theme tune off Watership Down)
  19. ..............................very true Mackem....... and they are there all the time...... behind the scenes........ under the gyuise of a hunting man / gril or novice.... scrolling........ searching...... taking notes...... building profiles on people....... looking at photos............checkin I.P addresses............ and building cases..................and unfortunately some folk make it all to easy for them.
  20. i think you'l find its a bit more advanced than that and although iv come across meny an idiot copper in my time. the truth is imo a lot more sinister ,those programes put on to brainwash the public also brainwash the hunter into thinking there a bunch of dopy CUNTstables sat in a van in high viz coats drinking t waiting for a beam to shine around a feild, when on the other hand the more inteligent side of the force is on sites like this working under cover to find out the people that are breaking this joke of a law,who can you really trust got to agree with you there.......even the
  21. I was watching the news on BBC this morning and noticed that East Yorkshiore Police had been having a field day with gang of lads poaching / coursing,...where it mentioned that hares deer and badgers were being rattled. With the story was some lovely incriminating video footage from 'Airwolf' of a dead deer and half a dozen lads on infra red mooching through some fields. Whilst am I not advocating the above - I think its serves as a fair warning.......the brain washed public will be even more alerted, and will on the blower to pc as soon as they see a lamp on - which does nothing to he
