    the worrying thing he is a white guy who has changed his religon to muslim, and his mates are pigeon watch mods. atb joe I always find it worrying when that happens - he is a 'mature student' as well. Well I just looked, out of 153 posts of his, I can't find any relating to shooting, mostly off topic stuff or sarcastic comments on other threads and a few moaning about racism on there in a thread about muhammad.     I have read the threads on here and on PW and now you have illustrated the cause of the ban I am very surprised. That is not racist (for a start you cannot see what race they are!) at all and anyone who took offence at it needs to grow up, especially the PW member who was threatening as a result - how can he hold SGC or FAC if he is going to kick off about that picture, worrying that it doesn't take much and he has access to firearms.     The fish really did beat me up for about an hour - my guide wouldn't let me have a butt pad as apparently in canada "they are for pussies and girls" so I had a nice bruise! It is a stunning place to fish, I had salmon to 90lb on the fly and over five days fishing landed 23 sturgeon with 10 on my first day! I am saving up to go back. Anthony

    Good afternoon - I know most of the posts on here are speculative requests for permission and that this is not the best way to get it but worth a try! I have just moved to Meriden and I am finding door knocking frustrating as most of the land is owned by packington estate (where I fish) and is controlled by their keepers so I am struggling to get a look in. If anyone has anything that they know of near me or wouldn't mind me tagging on / helping out when they go out please let me know. Cheers Anthony

    Good afternoon all - I have just signed up to the forum hoping to learn as much as possible. I am into most countryside pursuits, fishing and shooting. I have a young border terrier and will very soon be getting a working cocker pup as well. I would consider myself pretty proficient at all types of fishing so may be able to advise some people on that but I think I have a lot to learn about shooting and fieldcraft. Most of my fishing at the moment is trout fishing on estate lakes or chubbing on small rivers, but I also do all other sorts of fishing apart from sitting behind bite
