    thanks for the reply's lads think i will go for a bitch then what sort of money do pups from a working strain go for?? i have seen a book online called the working whippet is this worth reading or a complete load of crap thanks aaron

    hi lads sorry if this has been asked before looking to get a whippet pup in the near future (once my baby is born and settled in) and was wondering which would be better to get a dog or a bitch for rabbit hunting i have plenty of land to hunt on as i already hunt with air rifles and land owners are happy for me to run a dog. also what should i be looking for in a pup and what sort of things should i avoid. im i better of going for a pup that is kc reg or does that mean nothing when it comes to a working whippet any advice would be great thanks aaron

    thanks lurcherman hellyer189 just into my shooting mate dont really know much about hunting with with dogs so never really got into it watched a few vids on youtube and can see why people like it

    i have a bsa hornet that needs a bit of work the barrel and air cylinder need re blueing (could just spray paint) and also the stock could do with being sprayed or varnished. rifle holds air and shoots fine and is single shot bsa pictures by sweet169 - Photobucket looking to swap for 300bar bottle or a springer or w.h.y.

    hi duncan im in devonport i hunt with air rifles mate a mk2 rapid in .177 at the moment but have also been thinking about applying for a shotgun licence
