Coffee Table replied to TWOTWOTHREE's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
You corner most wild animals and they will atack.Badger or fox would have you size three in a min bud. You wouldnt catch me kicking a badger, not over some garlic bread anyway! Richard -

A good kick in the face from anything bigger than a size 3 would of seen it running away yelping. What a fanny! Richard -
Avionic technician for the worlds leading airline. I sometimes use oil for lubricating things, I sometimes don't.. Not the glamorous job I applied for, especially when I'm stuck fixing beverage makers, ovens and in-flight entertainment. Richard

Plenty of carp, are you sure? When I was a member they seemed to have a bit of trouble with people taking the carp home with them. I once watched a family, who were probably fully paid up members take fish after fish and place them in a bin bag to die. I then watched the prat of a young lad they had with them cut his hand to two pieces with a machete while trying to make a bank stick. Last time i fished the top lake it looked deserted, went from catching 10-15 carp a session off the top with bread to not even seeing a fish. If they have improved the situation I'll happily renew my members

Try here http://www.aadaa.co.uk/ They own a lake in llwydcoed and a bit of the Cynon. Probably the closest to you and it's where I caught my first fish as an 8 year old. Richard

Try something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New-419-Assorted-O-Ring-Set-O-Ring-Plumbing-Seal-/400273531682?pt=UK_DIY_Materials_Plumbing_MJ&hash=item5d32296322 It's bound to have the size you need along with many others. I got a box when I needed to service my pcp pump and it always seems to have the right size for anything that goes wrong from cars to coffee makers. Richard

dont u just hate it ( mucked about off farmers )
Coffee Table replied to madmacca's topic in General Talk
So you have at least 5 different permissions and you want more? Just for the change? One gripe of mine is people who control vast amounts of land and dont have the time to get around them all. Unless your retired or unemployed there is no way you have the time to get around them and control the vermin. Maybe the golfcourses, huge fleet of chicken farms and the farm in the middle of now where is enough for one man. Richard well i it is, im out nearly every night weather permiting. the golfcourses are pritty much killed off now so we have done our jobs, the chicken farms a -

Hunting accident **Dont open if eating youve been warned**
Coffee Table replied to bp1984's topic in Airgun Hunting
Your lucky, It could of been so much worse. Nobody should take air rifles for granted as they can kill if the pellets hits the right place. Richard -
Strange his old man Fred was white. And his uncle Adam was a bat.

Now your going to get bashed by the 'regulars' for not going for a headshot. Even though a headshot might always be the best option for a clean kill sometimes they arent available or a mistake is made. I hope someone comes along and does give you the answer and good hunting. Richard

Not good news, results of a biopsy carried out by a vet confirm that it is cancer. At the moment she's not in any pain and eating/drinking fine so i think i'll get another chance to show her some light work, just so she can end of her life on a high. It's a real shame as she is one of the original two i had when i first started out ferreting.. Richard
-
Cheers guy's, vet closed just moments before i noticed the lump so i'll phone from work on monday and take her in after work. I hope it's just a cyst or adrenal disease as she is a valued member of the team just like the others and it would be a shame to lose her at just two years old. Richard
-
As per title i've found a lump on one of the ferrets necks, how long it's been there i have no idea as ive been away all week and my mother cleaned them out, she did give them the once over while handing them but missed the lump. Several sources say it could just be a cist but others are suggesting a cancer of some sort. The vet will be contacted shortly. Anyone had any experiences with lumps on ferrets and what was the outcome? Richard

Not much to do with this thread but ive been out from penarth, cardiff on the nik-i-lou. Good friendly skipper that had everyone from first time anglers to experienced anglers like my old man onto the fish within 15 minutes of leaving the harbour. Richard

It's said that Sony make a huge loss on each console sold just to bring you a blue ray player, a cunning plan that due to you being able to stream movies straight from the internet, has failed terribly. Their original plan was taking the initial loss of adding a blue ray player and making their profit when DVD's were completely phased out to blue ray. You cant go wrong with one of the new 250GB xbox consoles, the only advantage the ps3 ever had was being a few years newer than the 360, now with the new console there isnt a difference graphics wise. Like whats been said there is many ad

I thought it would be something along them lines. But by rolling in fox poo surley that would decimate their chances just as much as smelling like a dog would? Richard
-
i thought you'd be the best judge of that? Have i missed the joke or is that a genuine statement? Richard
