:hmm: Plenty of BA have 10 shot mags that stick out a bit, if you don't want a 25/50 shot banana on a semi don't use one!? Aye. The 10/22 has the option of a 30 shot extended mag, or a 10 shot rotary that fits completely inside the rifle housing. You can pick and choose. Remember. You can customise nearly all rifles to suit your preferences.

The .17 is a difficult one because of the super sonic. I doubt you would find much noticable difference unless you have a pet bat, or carry a decimeter with you everywhere. -
Pigeon Shooting With Air Rifles
Bunny Boiler replied to Kent_keith's topic in Pigeon Shooting & Decoying
As I see it, you have a few options; 1. Get a shotgun; 2. Invite someone with a shotgun out; 3. Test it and see if it works. I know I would personally pick 1, but i dont need to now... Because well... I have a shotgun. -

Or a closed nesting box to sleep in. No rain and less wind. Always have the option of being somewhere out of direct sunlight then too. -

Perspex will act like a green house. Light and heat go in and stay in. Keep the flies down by removing shit, only feeding at night and removing in the morning. A few fly strips work quite well too. -
Anyone of respectable position within the community. Now, while this is a bit conspicuous, it means anyone who would pass a simple police check. I.e, dont ask you're local crack dealer. Anyone who is non related and has known you 2-3+ years that is a decent guy/gal will do.

Best Zero Distance For Ruger 10/22?
Bunny Boiler replied to IanS's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Depends what distance you are comfortable shoot at, what distances you will be shooting at and what scope you are using (mildot etc) are all considerations, but ultimately, i think most people zero to 55 yards (50 metres) or there abouts and then shoot up to 100 or so yards comfortably. -
Call it a sixth sense if you will but I just knew you'd say that! LOL LOL. It's not a 410 I need but guided missiles! I managed 10 pigeon and a squirrel on saturday roost shooting for just over 30 shots so I'm not completely useless! LOL Thats better than me! I missed a mixy rabbit at 20 yards with 3 shots... It didnt even move when the shots tore the ground up next to it. I couldn't believe my eyes... Last time I go shooting when I HAVEN'T been drinking the night before... Bloody sober eyes play tricks...

CZ 452/BRNO Mod2E for .22 (same rifles). They shoot really well and you can get them quite cheap. Can also look at the Ruger 10/22 for semi autos in synthetic/stainless. Good robust rifle.

Why would you want to?

Ferrets won't work? Have you tried turning it on and off again?
-
I get in the shower usually. Bit of soap and a sponge. I clean my rifles with a damp cloth if muddy and then dry and oil... Remove the bolt and wipe that down. Not hard...

you mean 22lr if so it would depend on the ammo used not the rifle Hey Paul, Do semi-auto's not produce less ft/lb than a standard bolt action, I'm sure I heard that somewhere? they will produce the same but use it differently I think he's referring to the ft/lb after it has left the barrel. The .22lr semi autos work by using some of the energy from the expanding gases to cock the action, and therefore ejecting the case. It is a minor amount but it is an amount. Military centre fire semi/auto rifles instead use a gas rod system with gas ports at the end of the barrel, which results in
