Try telling that to some of the stables owners or farmers wifes that feed them that's not to say the infectious wounds they cause either after a meet up or who sees it just easier to break them to them imo

Seen a really good catch and dispatch bitch 23 inch put a lot of bigger dogs to shame a very good alrounder but she was started when she was mentally ready a later starter if you will about 2 half to 3 year old

You there on the 15 th max -
I have bolted a fair few over the years with terrier on shoots my lurchers have always been broke to cats that said I did have a accident with a young bull x when one bolted much to the delight of the keeper who normally keeps things tight with any predator but had kept seeing it but couldn't get any were near it I suppose they will get dealt with quietly if they become a problem on any shoot

I think you would be very lucky to get a stud at that money today unless your good mates with the owner and some may not even put there's over a grey hound the only reason I mentioned shoot lodge was because a lad with a very decent greyhound bitch was looking at this cross and he chose his atlenthic looking red dog but she was killed before a lining took place

Same as Rio said I have a small combo van for dogs fishing etc on social domestic use they will ask if it's sign wrote your useage miles points etc but it's just like a car insurance but I got a grilling because I own commercial vehicles as well I think it goes up to transit size before it's classed as commercial
-
The thing is i think Brian holstead charges about 500 a lining and that's if and a big if he would do one to a greyhound and I think stuff of him is similar prices at stud the half crosses are quick enough to catch plus like been said good feet coat and natural retrievers as you would expect and a bit more brains than a beddy x so I couldn't see why one couldn't be used on a shoot with a bit of training in place

Calling foxs into a rabbit decoy in the evening
blackmaggie replied to Smashing reds's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
never used a decoy but I have found First light is also as good a time as any to call them even if they have a belly full they will still come in for a nosey -
You might be thinking of shoot lodge Ketchum he's up your way and a. Decent red lab could be him
-
There was one Liverpool way a very good fox dog by all accounts bosun /at/ mud could tell you more and the one I went out quite a bit no good on teeth but a very good dog on all edible it was a hardy sort could run clever and take a good knock good feet and coat

anyone actually been out digging yet
blackmaggie replied to fat man's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I agree fat man a young bitch here started well end of last season and I had a good feeling about her but this time round she's been found wanting on a couple of easy digs she's been on but on a brighter note her brother flying it's always good to see a youngster progress -
Kerny I have known a few lads like you call anyone out fight anyone and did most i would guess are handier than you but one thing they have in common they all got bettered at some point but my old mate who was a serious sort back handed a kid one night for no reason and laughed he now needs a stick and dribbles because of this same kid you need to lighten up stop offering folk out because on here you really have no idea who your actually offering out

All the best for yesterday dy I hope you had a good day

could be right red but I thought with him applauding the fans like he did and the board saying there backing him do you think he's on borrowed time the pressure is obviously getting to him judging by him waking out of his after match interview like he did
