    seems like no one wants to answer this one so i will ,you can try to decoy them in to range or the best way if they are around the farm is lie in wait for them they may be around the feed bins ect , get your self in range and hide real well dont shoot one then show your self or they will be gone only pick up if theres none in sight .and the most important thing is get there very early well before the crow arive ,you will get a few hrs sport ..

    like its been said you may need more ferrets down the holes or it could be there not going deep enough ,you find a really good ferret goes deep becouse thats were most rabbits are hideing and its not really down to how many holes you have but how far apart the holes are that makes you put more ferrets down,plus a ferret that knows it suff will bolt rabbits that some ferret wont bolt ,if you have a young jill that just sniffs the rabbit the rabbit will more likely just puff its self up stopping the ferret from getting past ,so the young ferret just walks on were the ferret that knows what its

    nut crackers are best or pliers or two sticks will do the job no need to treat the tail if the bones been taken out if you think you need to treat it use meths by leaveing it in a jar full of the stuff for a few days ..best way to take the tail off is put the fox face down and stand on its back legs and pull ..

    you feed a running dog food before it go`s out your wasteing your time even going out or trying to catch any thing..the dog will run far better and i mean far better on a empty gut .feed on the way home or wait till your home before any type of food goes into to the dog ..a dog over weight will run poor as well and dont let it drink to much on the night if it needs to drink loads of water the dogs unfit .
