give it a bash and I'm sure you will be glad you did, I used a couple for years and they done job well. Dropped after flushing if told, used one of them for long netting at night, ferreting, lamping and beating now and again, was always being pestered for pups off him as he was starting to get on in age, lined him to a terrier that also does more than job and litter are all doing really well, only wish id kept one.as was only small litter and I didnt wanna refuse anybody that wanted one, terrier is old as fook now and collie dead, so ill be looking for replacements soon Just out of curio

I guess you have never seen good spaniels smashing through cover and pushing rabbits out to lurchers or guns though i must admitt the smaller type spaniels i kept went faster through cover than larger type spaniels ive seen but both got the job done with no fear of them dropping down a badger sett. do you still have pics of jan they could graft

the nose and the drive they think before you do but as allways said you have to be the leader of them just so they no whos boss and then they are allways trying to please you firm voice once they no its plane sailing spaniel x patt made hunting easy

what you have to remember size if going the collie route as much drive as you like if working brambles they will get stuck said a few time there was a bitch spaniel x collie staff lakeland black and white bitch

I will get some for you, still havent been able to slow her down in the pen so shed lose a bit of the rib thats shown. Ive changed her food a few times and uped and downed her quantity of food.It doesnt matter how much food I give her she just runs it of all day in the pen. If I bring her out for an hour or 4 hours, she still runs around the pen.She just wont sit easy at all. as said before i give them 1/2 lb tripe and then when i get them back in a soup lambs milk some boiled rice but thats just me

after having both i think the 1/2 is a more steadier slower pace and the 3/4 u must of had bushing dogs before i think this bitch i have the 3/4 will burn her self out bye the age of 5 she works so hard so i prefer the 1/2 spaniel but any cross the gets the gear out will do for me as long as its got coat a good nose and dont go to ground and listens to you i would be happy

I like the Spaniel x terrier I have done some Fox drives with spaniel. X bolted everything with them ferret with them and very little chance of them poping down a hole and they listen to what there told so makes the hole days bushing go to plan I've seen or worked most crosses to Bushing and this cross suits what I think you need. But everyman sees things different

white wine vinegar 1/10 mix this is what a vet told me to use it worked 1/4 ml in to the ear them massage it in with cotton ball everyday for 5 days

Thanks cbx everyday they show a little more eyes on the Spaniel x beagle Lakeland at the moment see if it's going to make the grade but enjoy bringing them on time will tell
