  10. yee bud i had thought of the 25 or 30 to be honest just worried he might not be able to reach the trigger properly the meteor i had years ago was really accurate to be honest and this was way past 30 yards infact i couldnt believe how accurate it was at such a distance the shot was taken by a friend resting on a mud hill. but that dont mean that every ones is accurate bud may be its leaded up in the barrel or may be it doesnt like the type of pellets bud but i agree with you they are a great gun good luck with it
  11. Hi guys ive just read the post on how loud mods are i always think the best way to test them is to get your mate to go down the field from 25 yards to 45 / 50 yards stand to the side of the rifles line of fire about 10 feet probably and get him to use two funnels one in each ear to magnify the sound and to listen out for the gun to be fired and if he cant hear anything then you have a bl--dy quiet Gun but if he can still hear the crack of the rifle then you need another silencer. but the best bit is youll have a bl--dy funny video for you tube and you can afford a new silencer out of the 250
  12. I have been thinking of getting my lad who is 12 an airrifle to use when he is with me as he loves to plink with my springer only its just that bit to big for him,to hold on his own, so i hold the rifle while he pulls the trigger but he loves it like father like son ay I have been thinking of a BSA METEOR as this was the best little rifle when i was a kid that ever hit the market, both me and my mates all had one and spent many a fantastic hour during the summer holidays plinking glass bottles over our specialy dug pit to catch the broken glass i never forget the hollow thud of the pellet hit

  16. Hi folks, thought i would tell you about my experience of how wrong you can be, i have known a chap in my local area for some time now and he had a problem with a few fury pests and was thinking of getting him self an air rifle to remove the pests, so after chatting about the problem for a bit i decided that the problem was to close to his house for my liking as he mentioned about me removing the pests so i thought i would do a fellow shooter a faver and decided out of good will to lend him one of my much loved and cared for air rifles. The chap was pleased when i told him this and i took the
