Firearms licence question

i asked the police years ago about my firearms cert explaining i had no land but was thinking of pest control the coppa said the question is do you have a good enough reason to own one put your buisness plan to the rife arms department and all relavent documentaion and they will access the aplication if they think the cause for a fire arms cert was viable they would grant one. -

Hi guys i put a post on last week about blueing kits the question i never asked and i should off do you have to sand the old blueing of all the metal work or simply apply the new blue to the old If i decided to blue my own gun insted of sending it off i was going to use wet and dry to rub the metal work down if i needed too that is. cheers guys openseason

Just bought me self an old army jacket the other day HEY !!! NOT BAD really cost me 15 quid from Army Navy stores thought they stopped selling these years ago. Real nice condition too was well pleased when i saw the price tag and suprised to see them in the store only went in for camping gear lol

Good point actually thought the foam would absorb the sound but may be not ay! could or should i say was thinking of drilling holes around the silencer into the foam so they go right through then plug the ends of the holes leaving small tubes running around the silencer thought this might absorb the sound or dissipate the air better or blow the b---dy plugs out lol think ill try it see what happens just need some foam what do you recon !!!!!!!!!

With the post that was on here about how loud is your moderator which was an interesting post,by the way. I have a silencer that came with a gun i bought only the silencer has nothing in it i got the gun for a good price so never complained. I was thinking of filling the silencer with expanding foam trimming it down and re boring the hole through the middle. Does ANY ONE THINK this would make a quiet silencer ?????? Or make no difference at all ?????? Regards Openseason

I had a laser donkeys years ago bud and the dot was about foot across lol at about 40 yards or so real bab and it cost me about hundred quid But now they are a lot smaller but after that experience i never bothered any more but as these lads have said as they have experience with them they do have there uses. b---dy hell if i had that on me springer people would have thought i was lamping with a red cover on me lamp lol jumping around all over

Thanks for the link bud will have a look Buster i never said i could make better pellets bud than the tried and tested ones i said i wanted to make my own pellets simply for the intention of seeing if i could nothing more experiment is the idea not to take over the world of pellet making lol As for the dome heads going of course this was my opinion as some dome heads are slightly marked and have small nicks in them this would aid the direction of a pellet in flight to be moved with a breeze again my opinion as i said As for the flat head this would simply punch its way through the air and n

Them sabos lol would have been impressive to me too never thought of trying that with a 2 pence piece lol Them defiants ive seen them are they lead or tin ?? im hopefully going to make my own pellets in the future still working on it at min nothing fancy really but was thinking if possible mixing tin and lead together ????????

You did the right thing bud and the owner will probably see it as taking care of his land for him but still tell him bud deffo go long way for you any respectable shooter would have done the same. After all they was trespassing, tell the owner mate no matter what. He is trusting you to help him as well REMEMBER.

I had a discusion with a mate of mine the other day about pellets and what we use we have both been using airguns for years. He plinking and me Hunting. He has now turned to hunting, too. we spoke about the aspects of Accuracy and quality when i told him i used flat heads he laffed said WHAT how can they be Accurate i said ive used all types and i find these the most Accurate. I explained in my oppinion, of a flat head floorboard nail, doesnt split the wood but punches its way through, so same for the flat head any variation in the dome of a round head will put the pellet of course and
