  1. lol yeah mate spanish know how to hunt pigs mate lol using bandogs and 20 of them lol what a joke tell that to a real pighunt Ok, I will get right on that and tell the entire Spanish population they are doing it wrong. 12000 miles difference from you and them. Of course the method of Hunting is going to be different. Especially from a country that still loves the Bull fights. They have always hunted them that way. And Bandogs?
  2. Have a look on Pre Loved or Gumtree. Quite a few litters about at the moment depending on what your after. http://www.preloved.co.uk/adverts/show/104947966/bedlington-lurcherwhippet-puppies.html
  3. No, it's a Perro de presa Canario (a Canary Dog). They cross them too normally with mastiffs. I seen a guy that had one nearly as big as a Great Dane. The muscle on it was unreal and one of the toughest looking dogs Iv'e ever seen. They are a hard dog to handle and have been known to kill grown men.
  4. So you are looking to stud your dog and want to borrow someone else's bitch... (for free?) And then you keep the majority of the pups... but could give 1 or 2 away for their trouble.... I know you asked for no silly comments.... but Really?
  5. I used to live in Spain and the Spanish know how to hunt Boar alright! The size is a little different though. There are some monsters over there. I remember my pointer went off into some trees while I was walking my dogs. I thought he was after a Hare or maybe a partridge. Then he came bolting out towards me tail between the legs and following him was the biggest pig i've ever seen! Luckily I had all the dogs with me ( Pointer, Lurcher and 2 rottweilers) They chased it over the mountain and they were gone for a good 15 mins. My Lurcher and 1 of the rottys biting at the back legs. I fi
  6. Thanks mate! I got some high hopes for her. I shall keep you all updated.
  7. Cheers! She's a Saluki Greyhound with a pinch of Collie. Sire = Saluki Greyhound. Dam = Saluki Greyhound Collie.
  8. Took her out on a new path this afternoon. Was fresh out! Reached the end of a trail and had to turn back as there was a shoot on. Met some people walking their dogs and had a chat with them. They were laughing how much she likes to run around. Then one of them said ''You just missed a Big Hare bolting across the fields, she would of had a good run on that'' Me: ''Yeah and I would be in jail ''
  9. Very nice. How's she running?
  10. What about walking on a public footpath at night with dog and lamp. I walk my pup at night as I work late, I'm not hunting but I have the lamp with me(Because it's better than any torch obviously) Wellys on and Lurcher off lead. The public footpaths round here go all through the fields.... I like to take her on a good run.
  11. It really is a joke. It's sad that our country has come to this. I guess they would be happier if we spent our weekends in the pub rather than doing what mother nature intended. Makes me sick.
  12. Ok will do thanks. And cheers! I'm pretty smitten with her! Took me a while to find the right breed. But was well worth the wait.
  13. I took my Pup out on a pretty long walk last weekend and she couldn't sit still when I got back for about 2 hours. Moving from one place to the next and whining. I figured it was cramp but didn't know how to help her... Tomatoes you say... nettle stings between the feet can somtimes make dogs go like that,,, had it been running round anywhere , like undergrowth where there where nettles?? Aha, yes. That was also a thought of mine. She was in a lot of undergrowth. And kept licking her feet when she got back too. I have a video actually.lol And don't worry she's not get

  15. No, But I also wouldn't want to roll in shit and all the rest that dogs love to do
  16. Poor little things are so bored since the ban they have to chase themselves. That's animal cruelty right there!
  17. been there done that, not good in the dark , Haha stop! The rain makes it a little more fun too. lol
  18. I think it just depends on the dog. My old bitch got shocked quite a lot. One time she got wrapped up in a fence and was repeatedly getting shocked. I had to untangle her from it and received multiple shocks myself. She was a little shaken up but it didn't effect her in the long run at all.
  19. says video is private.....? It worked earlier... Says it's private for me too now..
  20. I used to always give my bitch a rabbit after a night out. Used to skin it and let her have it all. And when starting a pup/dog on the hunt let them taste the blood on field to get them geared up.
