    Sounds like it could have made a reasonable dog in the right hands. Your pal would have been better suited with a dog with natural killing instinct. Maybe a bull cross from a good working strain or indeed anything bred from parents proven in that work. It didn't get used for stuff with teeth theres no need at all for having a bull cross for what it was getting used for.
