We always had lurchers and terriers but I was 9 before I actually went out with Dad and the dogs to work. Was instantly fascinated and enthralled and therein my love began.

Had a similar problem initially having relocated to a new area. Found that most areas were already worked by other locals, a few of whom were very reluctant to share their space. After much persistence and a little bit of cheeky interpretation I'm happily active now but I must confess to the odd night of poaching in those early days of settlement!
