A little over twenty years ago , i had a friend how was a ICE officer . She never carried her glock when off duty. When i asked why , she said ,she did not consider the level of firearms training she received to be of a good standard and didn't feel confident enough to carry while off duty. In my time in the states, if you were pulled over by law enforcement, you turn off your vehicle and place your hands on the top of the steering wheel while dealing with them.
