Gun related Paypal won't allow it, they have a blanket ban on everything gun related so you will have no protection from them. RFD to RFD transfer is the safest way and will probably cost you about £20 to your local RFD who will also check the gun is ok.

Complain to the boss there and the veterinary college as they've carried out the wrong operation!!!
