  1. If I frontline them or use Effpro will I still need to remove the ticks or will they drop off when they die
  2. A neighbour has just brought a ferret to me that she found in the woods behind where we live. Its a hob that is very thin and infested with ticks I have never seen one so bad. What is the best treatment. Its a friendly ferret. I was wondering if ivomec or frontline would kill them off. Any advice would be good. I've just put some flea powder on it as a start

  4. Im 45 now and my cousin and the first dog I ever saw work was a WSS, she was one of the best dogs I have ever seen work but this was 30 yrs ago and at there time there were quite a few people working them around where I live. Sadly this is not the case now

  6. Wonder if any of you can help, my mate has bought a lovely springer bitch called LUCKY off a guy in Cardiff. He said she is 3 yr old she is mostly white bodied with liver head. The guy he bought her off had only had her two weeks before he sold her on!!!!!!!! When he bought her he said he had got her of a guy in Merthyr Tydfil now the bitch is a nice dog and will sit stay retrieve so someone has taken time with her and got her to a level I am trying to find out some details for him hopefully of where she came from, the guy he got her off was no real help.   8. would it harm you if you ate it? no mate. but depending on how far along the disease is there won't be much meat on the rabbit because it can't eat and wastes away. not a very nice disease. as for taking them home for ferret food i would not advise it . you could be spreading the disease . Rabbits would be gutted/skinned on site and waste burnt. Looked over the web and mixed views all round, but this seems to be the most common. is it worth the risk mate.
