Using Drain Rods As Lofting Poles?
lazybones1416 replied to 03milesR's topic in Pigeon Shooting & Decoying
I bought 3 washing poles that extented cut the hooks and one end has a point to put decoy on they cost 3.75 each and join together out in the field working quite well and not to heavy might get one more for a bit more higher up decoy good luck. -
Think you made a good choice with the 17 i started with this they are very accurate with the right ammo. Your on the right track i paid about the same for my s/h gun don't be afraid to ask to upgrade the scope when buying best chance to get a deal 16 mag is fine with shooting 150 yards easy and a cleaning kit helps as they get very dirty barrels good luck.

Hi just got a new present for my rimfire a tasco 6-24-50 nice scope but found the front focus a bit strange as the yards don't match the distance to shoot at. 10 yards for 50 and 20 yards for 200 yards it was clear but point of impact did change a bit when trying to zero. does it change when you move front parrallax. cheers for any help more testing needed me thinks.

All hornady ammo seem ok but the feral was very bad. the strike on bullet was not as deep on the missfire but still hit.
