    I have a set of swarovski 8.5 x 42 EL worth every penny. My mate had a set of Docter 8 x 30 they were good but still nothing on the swarovski, we actually lost his binos out the Landrover well we couldnt think what happened to them may the truth be told.     Got one they are good trucks had mine for a year now bloody good truck. Touch wood never had one thing wrong with it. Will get pics up when I get a new blue tooth thing for the comp. Got a good set of BFG Muds on it, Super chipped, Lamp in the roof, De-mountable winch for the front Ive only ever had it stuck once and it was my own fault as I went in a land drain that I didnt notice while looking around my permission.     Yeah I had people from there coming to see me mate when I worked in Ayrshire but then I think the colleges split up. I think that if someone drops off the course you may get a start but try all the colleges mate as one might have a place better to have your fingers in a few pies no point sitting waiting on the phone call phone around. You have a better chance of getting a job with qualifications these days mate. Regards highlander

    Hi kreet Im a fully qualified keeper did 4 years at The North Highland College in Thurso. If you are intrested in getting in to keepering give them a call at the college and they will put you on to John Waters or Richard Mcnicol the tutors. You would be able to do the National Certificate (NC) and then to progress on to the Higher National Certificate (HNC) as the first 2 years are Skill seekers and you need to be 16 so counts you out.     Went lamping last night with Zak seen as Ziggy in the sick bay. My mate came along to get some pics. Ready and waiting. Retrieve to hand. A few in the bag. Heading home. Final tally 3 but I was on some testing ground. Regards highlander.

    Never posted last night as I was in late and have been at the vets all day. Went lamping last night with Zak and Ziggy. Took the keepering student from the local estate out for a run with the dogs last night. We went up to an estate were my mate is the keeper we had a quick run out with the lamp and rifle for a fox and shot one in the first park . Then we saw blue flashing lights up the hill someone had put there car off the road we took a run up no sign of anyone then people apeared with a trailor so I used the winch on the front of the truck to pull the car up the bank.     Tikka T3 Lite I use every day and wouldnt go past it. Shot this fox the other night with it. Regards highlander.

    hard to beat the tikka t3 Got a Tikka T3 .270 as well stainless synthetic bit heavy for foxes though use it for night shooting deer ( under licence ). Regards highlander.

    No alimac I didnt must admit if there was a way to go that wouldnt have been the nicest ( hitting it with axe) I think what it got was as good a sendoff as anyone could ask for she didnt know what hit it. On the other hand Ive got one at the moment that when I eventually get the B**tard I will hit it over the head with the axe driving me crazy just stays out of range or gets in amongst sheep its time will come and I will be there to see it in to the next world.     ya same bullets i find them good good grouping AT 100 YARDS Yeah mate they group very well with this rifle as well I did my DMQ level 1 shooting test the other day and they were all within a thumb nail. Regards highlander.

    In reply to Ditch. I dropped it and walked out knowing it took it well as it dropped like a stone it didnt feel a thing. I walked over I didnt belive how much damage it did I usually take body shots but this one was straight on so didnt get the option. In reply to sounder. Its at T3 lite .243. I lost the 3 shot mag one night so I priced a 5 it was 7 quid dearer so I got a 5 handy having the few extra shots especially at the hinds. T8 Moderater and a Schmidt Bender 3-12 x 50 scope. I use Federal, Power Shock, 100Grain, Soft Point Amunition factory but never had a miss fire with

    I shot it with my Tikka T3 .243. Just aimed at the point of the nose and got it right between the eyes. Regards highlander.

    It is better TJ. My truck dont like lamping in low gears burns fuel like mad. Need to tinker with it abit to see if we can get it better. Pulls like a demon aint had a trailor on it yet but soon and I will give it a good try got to get concrete mix soon so that will give it good workout as the trooper used to pull it no bother.
