    Where to Shoot in the NW? I am relatively new to shooting, and have been using the Atherton Indoor Range - until it closed last month. Pity a really nice set up, friendly, and with great potential. So does anybody know of any alternatives around the Liverpool / Manchester / Preston area?

    Hi, by way of introduction, I am new to the forum, and new to the sport. So doing lots of reading, books, web, etc. I thought I would learn more starting with a springer, and maybe move to PCP later. So I am looking for a 0.177 side or under lever rifle, and a club to shoot at – I do not have a suitable garden. I fancy a bit of pistol shooting as well. I am intending to learn to shoot first, then if my shooting is good enough move on to hunting. Any advice, hints, or tips welcome. Regards, Dave
