I remember the last time we had a lot of snow i followed all the instructions if you were travelling on the road, take a warm blanket, food provisions, thermos flasks, extra clothing, a snow shovel etc. I looked a right cnut standing at the bus stop.

The same thing happened to our American bulldog x staff earlier this year. It hasnt slowed him up in the slightest and he has adjusted well. He is nine and still loves to go out with the lurchers.

I had to have a dogs eye took out after an accident earlier this year. Vetsavers ( sic ) charged me £130 to see him and give him some painkillers and were going to charge over £1000 for the operation. I rang my old vet we used before moved and they charged £250 for the op and follow up visit. Bit of a difference, eh?

You probably wouldnt go far wrong with a PL500. I bought one at a game fair this summer and i use it most of the time. Nice and light and goes a fair way on a charge. Not bad for £40, but i am only a hobby lamper these days and it depends on the type of lamping you do, but for an interim lamp its ok. Ask DLLOYD what he has got.
