During a lifetime of watching birds and hunting I have found just over one hundred Woodcock nests, in Dorset, Hampshire, Suffolk, Derbyshire and Caithness and nearly all found with the use of a good dog. 12. I cannot beleve people are training gsp pups at this age, they are not terriers or even labradors. I have worked and trained them for many years, I have yet to come accross a GSP mentaly old enough for field training before 18 months and most are older. No wonder German trained dogs knock spots of British ones. Start training at 8 weeks the basics of coming to you, walking to heal, sit etc and then let them have their puppyhood and start the serious training of swimming, retreving, pointing etc etc when they are physicly and mentaly old enough, beleave me you will thank yourself in the long

  16. Hi, if I were you I would apply for a variation to your ticket to allow you the use of solid slugs in your shot gun. You an now purchace slugs that are safe with any choke. They have a large margin of era for a kill shot, hence the German and frenh hunters using them for running shots.
