Socks was line bred down from Eastaff Danom not only one of the most prolific sires of show dogs but threw gameness in to his offspring, among his progeny are Culiogh dogs, Senkrah line dogs, Badgerlea and Jolihem.

Todays younger crowd do not know any better, they think that the modern show type are the real deal. Billy Rickards dogs had a lot of the pitbul line, Pitbul Amanda being bred from the showchamp Eaststaff Danom, Derrymacash Rascal was line bred to this dog who produced a lot of game workers.
