i work deerhound gray hound cross and we run hares on big open ground and they never stop always have a gear left my bitch will take 2 out of 3 hares on any ground and are great all rounders

i have a patterdale nutallcross 18 months old she was the runt of the litter and is timid and shy i started her 2weeks ago as a sounder was i wrong out of 5 digs not a sound every fox she meets lock and thats that shes small and evil below ground and a lamb above heart of a pitbull and the look of a ferret dog are a pet for the fire

deerhound/ grayhound 1st cross i found the best because they can adopt to any ground and have good stay but it depends on the ground you run

i use six beagles to flush foxs for my deerhounds i have great crack with them and they will mark to ground

ya the foxs where everywhere this year every time the beagles hit cover the foxs were moving all over the place and my young terrier kept them busy to -
i breed this line if you go for this type look for the deerhound feet and a deep cheast

today i finished up for the season and i was going trough me log of what was in the bag i was well pleased with the dogs we ended up with a total of 148 foxs by day & night and 34 of other lads(the deerhounds natural game) and 27 hares it was a good season and looking forward to next season so how did the rest of you fear out for the season

im off lads to go lamping its dark and windy going to add a few more foxs and stuff to the deerhounds bag before season ends yipeeeeeeeeeeee

lifted the skin around 2 of his toes and broke 4 and lost 2 nails he gets 5miles on road 4times a week

i have a3/4 grayhound 1/4 deerhound and a 110 % on all game but he keeps hurtig his feet is there any thing i can put on them to stop this

ya i breed them i tryed all crosses and found deerhounds are what works for me they have great feet ,and staying power they can be very relaxed and not for all dog men
