    i took 2 weeks of work to hunt over the christmas was out yesterdy and jumped off a high ditch to follow my dog on a course and landed on the point of a bar went up trough my boot and foot so now im laid up for 3 weeks plus so always make sure you look before you jump :icon_

    i have a deerhound cross dog 28tts kills his in 2 shakes he got this nack very early in the game itsover so fast iv never had a dog to do it like him before its great because he gets no damage

    ya where finding it the same over here all the game are still lying out its tht mild trying earths nothing and then we push a bit of cover and there coming out at all sides

    A good night for me is when the dogs are working out of there skin and when they take game that where impossible to get and easy ones escape and for days and weeks later you go over in your head each race and you smile to yourself about all that happened and knowing your dogs gave it there all that is a good night for me its not about the bag its all about the dogs working and seeing all my work with my dogs paying off as they persue there game with heart and brain

    ya i have put foxs to ground with my hounds and dug and found him hiding behind a gray it has happent a few times all you can do is stand back and let him out and carry on with the fox

    four weeks ago we dug 13 feet it took 9hours after 5 ft we hit rock and little soil i was soar for days but the terrier was wourth it because he does not leave

    to all the lads in ireland a friend of mine was in contact with me today they were hunting in wicklow at the weekend and lost one of there deerhounds he was in persuit of a fox ran over a ditch into a bog and was not seen since they have looked high and low every day and night no sign just in case of anyone hearing of a deerhound been picked up are sold by people who would not have had a deerhound before could you pm me with any info and i will pass it on thanks

    where the on \off is there is a rubber cover on it pull that off and you can unscrew the switch and it will drop down the inside of the handle but most time the problem is just behind the red clips are as the wire enters the handle have a look at those first before you unscrew the switch

    i find the light force stricker 170 lamp good the wire can be a bit ifffy some times but a good lamp

    deerhounds are like no other you think there not moving and then there they are bang they can test you they are a great dog to learn from the longer the race the better they get enjoy them you will learn a lot from them if you have patience with them they are not for everyone enjoy it will be a rollacoster ride

    try to get your hands on cut and heal dab on its very good for that type of cut best of luck with it

    they can never have to much play time as pups this helps them in so many ways if they are restless at night put a radio in the kennel area turned down low for company this is what i find works for me

    Well obviously it's not me silly but, the proportions are about the same. Costs me a fortune in bras. i`m sure we`d all like to see your puppies Behave! if you have any pups with a brown nose i'd be interested too!

    the poor lad is dead why do the cops need to know what they were doing his poor kids and wife dont need to have to go trough that its just tragic sorry 2 hear it
