thanks for all the advise lads i dont know what to do now. but i dont think it is a mink probley just a big ferret.

dont realy want to let it go near where dad found it because theirs a chicken farm not far away and my dad also has chickens ,it will end up dead. my dad found it down a pit and it was on its last legs , weve managed to get it looking a lot better.

my dad has caught what i think is a wild polecat its a lot bigger than my ferrets and is black as the ace of spades, but you cant get near it becuse it is so viscious . do you think i could tame it some how? . i also think it is quite old but i dont know.

my old man used to say to me that a ferret wont start working to its best, intill there 2 years old.

could i tag along with someone ferreting in cornwall on saterday please .? i can bring ferrets and about 60 puresnets .

i live in par mate but i do have land a bit closer to you in landrake just outside saltash. where abouts in devon are you ? because a day out sounds great .

the problem iv got mate and the reason i joined this forum is because i havent got anyone regular to go with.
